  1. I usually build model for me, I mean, not thinking to sell them. Except when I build commission models. I had a pretty good offer from a Saudi Arabian prince, in fact my 356 is in a art gallery in Europe, so when he goes there can check it out. I though the 1/1 one sold for $1.750.000... Still a good amount of money.
  2. Put the engine in the chassis, also for check if every thing is straight.
  3. Cant wait to see more! Beautiful job Randy!
  4. The Protar are nice kits, they need some cleaning but over all are nice. I built some Heller cars, also the recently released Mehari, and the quality seems stuck in the seventies... A piece of history that need to be preserved... Think that Protar had a historic collection of every kit they did, with advertisment etc, but in 2013 a fire seems caused by a shortcut destroyed all the factory and collection. Here some picture of the fire. inside. Here some shot of teh engine
  5. Thank you Randy! I think to add also some decals on the barrels.
  6. Few days ago I started this Protar kit, it is a Moto Guzzi V7 700cc in 1/9 made by Protar. Protar made a lot of motorcycle kit in 1/9, until they closed. Italeri bought the molding and recently reissued this kit. Both Protar and Italeri make two version of this motorcycle, both about the Italian Police (polizia and carabinieri). The motorcycle is the same the only difference are decals and Protar was molding the police one in green and carabinieri in blue. Italeri mold both in blue and give both decals. when protare for have the police decals you had to buy the police bike...I wanted to do teh polizia bike so I contact Italeri and ask if they can send me the decals and price. With shipping would be 34$. The New Italeri kit ran at $65... So forget about the decals. This kit came out in the late 70's. All the parts needs a lot of cleaning... Engine Chassis
  7. Thank you Ray! Thank you Andre! Thank you Jeremy! Thank you Tom! I was looking to achieve the "action" factor. Thank you Richard! That was my goal to capture a moment of the jump. Thank yo Michel! I modified the suspension (only thing done to the car for the jump) because a "regular" car will extend the suspension in a jump. I searched and watched a lot of video about K.I.T.T. jumping, and not all of them have the suspension extended. Because in some scene they use a shell car or even a toy car with not working suspension... Luckly the scene I was trying to recreate had working suspension.
  8. Thank you Zac! As soon as I can find or print some decals for the barrels, after I can call it done.
  9. Thank you Andy! I though about the hazard decals, but cannot find so many... I think I will add a sign holder on the side of the trailer. Thank you JT. Here a moke up...
  10. The trailer... And K.I.T.T. on Turbo Boost mode...
  11. Trailer painted and added the load. Still need some works on the barrels.
  12. Thank you JT! Thank you Gator! Painted a few barrels. I also painted the trailer, but I don't have picture.
  13. I'm not using all the trailer, only a piece, and I'm putting some load on it. Oil barrel... I calculated that I need 96 of them... Here the first... Few more, still far away from the 96 goal...
  14. Here the Trailer WIP.
  15. One of the most famous trick that K.I.T.T has is the Turbo Boost. A button that make it jump over obstacles on the road. Since I built K.I.T.T. here and I'm going to build a trailer. I can combine both and make a diorama out of it. I don't know why it does not allowed me to add a second link... Here K.I.T.T.
  16. Thank you Rick! Larry, if I knew how it was I was not going to buy a different kit. After some research on internet I couldn't find if this trailer is a copy of a real one. So I modified the rear bumper and added the side rails. Also I added some kind of brake lines. The inner part of the tires need a lot, I mean a lot of trimming to make fit the inner and outer wheels with the center wheels. Here a test fitting.
  17. Thank you Gator! I put togheter the flat bed and this thing is getting worse... Thank you Brian! Here the update, I put together the flat bed and glue on it the rear axles. Nothing fit very well, and looks all twisted...
  18. I start this trailer, it is out of the Lindberg kit with the Dodge L-700. A lot of confusion is going on between the instructions and the parts on the threes... Not very good fitting too... With a lot of work I was able to put together the rear axles.
  19. I measured the lenght on the center part of the roof and is 3,3mm, on the window 3,2mm. The width on the A pillar is 2,6mm on the B pillar 2,5mm. I can measure them with a caliber in inches if it helps.
  20. Beautiful job Harry!
  21. Thank you Chuck!
  22. Thank you Tim! I will measure it this weekend. Thank you Sam! Thank you Andre!
  23. Thank you Keith! Thank you Bill! Thank you Jonathan!
