  1. Nice!
  2. Thank you Richard! Thank you Randy, hopeful soon I will start your Mini! Agree! Thanks Scott! Thank you Bruce!
  3. Dashboard looks great!
  4. Awesome job as usual Randy!
  5. Your lucky day! A car that you don't see every day on the road. That unfortunate for the picture, but maybe you will see it again. Here some progress on my model. The interior is done, and I add some detail on the engine, still need some more.
  6. I ordered this kit from the Heller website, and this is the box it came in. The seats on the kit are from the 2CV kit, and they have diagonal shape that make a romboidal pattern. I made them flat, so they match the rear seat. Also a arm rest/holder for the passenger was added.
  7. Thank you Andre! Thank you Peter! Thank you Scott!
  8. No was in Italy. Dark metallic green color, and I think it was a 1998 model. Steering wheel in position. The speedometer and fuel level are missing in the kit, so I used some decals I had.
  9. Thank you John! I think the 2CV Sahara is the one you talking about. Small update, the steering wheel-column.
  10. Thank you Richard! I drove for a while a Citroen XM, very futuristic car talking about shape and also that one you could lift it as you want without compromise the comfort inside.
  11. Very nice! It looks real!
  12. Thank you Bruce! I think they imported them in the US, but did not make a lot of success. Here are the doors.
  13. Engine and wheels on the chassis.
  14. True Scott, but this time I'm building it stock... Thank you Andre!
  15. Welcome DaSpeedinger, very nice job on the Merc. Did you paint it with a brush? It looks very good!
  16. The engine almost done, the rest of the wire, carburetor will be added when the engine is on the chassis with the body.
  17. Paint and chassis looks good. Also you can make a sanding tool yourself, buy some sandpaper and glue it to a piece of wood, or other hard material.
  18. Here the body painted. Still waiting for the hood, doors, tailgate etc... I did not glued the fenders on the body like the instructions said, because I think it is easy to paint them separately.
  19. THe wood work looks great!
  20. One tire done, 4 more to go...
  21. Looks beautiful in red!
  22. Here some progress, more an update because I didn't go forward with the building... The lower front end of the car, on the kit is straight down, in the real car it is in an angle... Here the piece in a more realistic position...
  23. And I was not planning to do a lot... Thank you Richard.
