Chopped '32 Ford Tudor Sedan Highboy. The beginning!...
Flatout replied to Tim W. SoCal's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Nice bunch of parts…should be very cool when finished. Since you asked, I would go with a black frame and save the red for the engine. Just an old guy’s 2 cents worth ? Will definitely be following along. -
Great looking Nomad…don’t see them built stock very often. Nice Work ?

Dang Bob…this thing looks mean. Very clean build and that gray paint really suits the truck. Well done? -

STITCHES
Flatout replied to TopherMcGinnis's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Hey Topher…this thing is too cool. Everything about it is right, the wheels / tires, the stance, and the body mods all work together to make this special. Can’t wait to see some color on it! -
Clean and simple…well done!

Thanks Guys…appreciate the feedback. The 1st thing I want to do is replace the rear cross member to support the IRS and update the transmission cross member. I need to modify the IRS to get the stance I want and the tires positioned where I want them. Next up is fixing the seam in the bottom of the engine, a little extra glue, a medium grit sanding board, a little primer, and it’s like it was never there. More updates coming soon…Thanks for lookin’?

Cool Hot Rod Alan…great mix of vintage and modern parts. It’d really be nice if Round 2 would bring back the 29 Ford Tudor.

Just freaking amazing…had to look long and hard to find any clue that this is in fact a model car. The most realistic Hot Rod model I have ever seen.
