  1. Got mine today....good job R2 on the restore....not 100% restored but about 99.5% so it's all good. No screen material for the grille and decal sheet is a bit short.....but OK.
  2. PLEASE!!! Bigger pics!! Those of us that are old need bigger pics!! I own a 1/1 1974 Matador Coupe so I love these cars!!
  3. Still being worked on.........remember Moebius has a full line of model subjects......Sci Fi, Military, Fantasy and stuff like the 1313 Mockingbird and the coming Mel's. LOTS of irons in the fire!!!
  4. Mason Dist of Roanoke Va is the manufacture......any hobby shop can get them. Check SMH and Round-up models for mail order/internet. Thanks
  5. Never seen those decals......but here is a new trucking decal sheet from Gopher decals......
  6. Love it!! Rails lost my interest when they went rear engine. FE rail is cool.....VERY nice work.
  7. Those plastic 'shoe box' tubs.......
  8. Automated shipper or not I've never lost an auction I HAD to have. I have lost them with less than 2 seconds left but only because it went over my absolute max I was willing to spend. If you bid the absolute maximum amount you are willing to pay you will win or get beat by someone willing to pay more....which is OK with me. On the kit it's the MPC Ford Mk IV chassis with a new body. Decent kit that did not have a real long production run.
  9. 1/24 scale....looks like a baseball bat!!!!
  10. That was my first resin and maybe Jimmys too.......as when I bought mine from him he did not have decals yet and they came weeks later. Mine is decent and easy kit.....just make sure you clean the resin well.
  11. Revell has been trying 'outside the box' marketing for a few years now. At one time they had merchandisers available for grocery stores and other stores.
  12. Terry, Model Round-up will be carrying the Police kits for sure. Any dealer can get them by contacting Model King, info on any MK box.
  13. This project has been stalled for 10 years!!! It started out as a 1/12 Roush Racing IMSA GTO Cougar. I have failed a number of times to build a body I was happy with....so here it sits. Chassis is all Evergreen and Plastruct plastic. Some Grandt line NBW castings. Suspension works with working coil overs. Engine started as a small block Chevy with all detail removed from block, re detailed as a SBF and new heads and valve covers made and cast in resin. Lots of turned aluminum pulleys etc. I NEED to work on this again.......
  14. You can contact me for info here or on Randys bb.....thanks
  15. I'll give you credit for hand painting them......It's what I had to do on my original kit when the kit decals were defective. But next time try these.......
  16. Geo Metro has a 3 cyl.....but I think they were just talking current production. It too is a 1000 cc motor.
  17. While it's only 70hp or so the 3 cyl engine in my Smart 452 is no slouch. I keep pace on the Interstate, out run them most the time and driven in manual mode runs great. A all new design with eco and turbo should be hot. Dad's Flex with the twin turbo 6 is UNREAL fast.....it's the biggest fastest thing I've driven.
  18. Nice work!!! I want to do the same conversion for a Conehead driving school car!!! I bashed a Taurus with a Dodge mini van to make my wagon. Sorry for the bad pic....it was with my first diggy and it was very poor....need new pics.
  19. WILD!!!!
  20. Google 1957 police car and a few movie cars will come up. I did this during research and IIRC and number of 50's B movies had them as well as mainstream films.
  21. WOW....from a owner of 2 1/1 AMC's!!!
  22. Revell used a Motorola 1956 Police radio for the radio and obtained a siren and gumball (not sure the model numbers used) from a vintage police car collector. My fault if I made it sound like it was an EXACT copy of car in photo. But it sounds like some may not like it at any rate. Only 3000 being run so if you do want them get your order in early. Thanks
  23. Model King made an announcement today....see it in review section....
  24. Model King will be issuing a special edition of the new Revell 1957 Ford kit. The kit will be a slightly modified version of the current Revell 57 Ford. The kit will contain new vintage police car parts and a large decal sheet with lots of Police, Fire and other markings that will allow the builder to create a number of different vehicles. Sean S. will be doing the box art and I the decals. We will post these as soon as they are finalized and approved. Below is a photo of the prototype car used to tool the extra parts. Stay tuned.....this will be cool.....
