Clean work I like the color

I have collected HW and MB for longer than I care to say. I was a HW tester for Mattel before they came out. This is my Roush IMSA Cougar made from a HW Thunderbird.

This is my version of the old 1/24 32 roadster........

Checked today at Lewisburg WV store. 57 Chevy coupe and wagon 56 Chevy coupe 57 Vette 32 Fors roadster Lambo Firebird custom 64 1/2 Mustang convertible (new to our store) Viper 69 Camaro

My favorite job was during high school in the 70's. Back then in NC the high school kids drove all the school buses!! We'd drive in the morning, miss first period while driving the elementary and jr schools. Go to class, get out and drive kids home. It was a great job....nights, weekends and holidays off. You took the bus home every night. I took great pride in the job. Never had any safety issues in 2 years driving. I enjoyed driving too. I feel it taught me some life lessons too. The retired banking analyst in me says if GM goes away (or is just 100% controlled by China) it will be blind greed that caused it.

Overall USPS office is 30 yards from my house. UPS office is 50 miles and is a licensed office which charges extra to ship. As fare as ebay USPS is always cheapest by far. UPS and FedEx are options to seller and buyer but few pick it.

It's just not the deal at $16 each. I know that's less than MSRP now but these are kits, most of them, tooled in an era when retail was less then $10.

At one time decal paper was an easy find. Lots of good makers out there. Then this lady in FLA was able to get a patent on decal paper. Decal paper has been around forever, late 1800's IIRC. But she somehow got a patent and stopped almost all decal paper sellers in the USA. I have owned two decal companies and still print a few on demand. I am living of a stash of Deca-Fix paper......the best made for many years. I know thi ain't much help.....but when my stash runs out I will be in the hunt too. Sorry Tango Papa website says he still sells paper but I have not used it.

OK.....now I understand why my orange cat has been trying to kill me. Of late he has been tripping me. Smart move....looks like a total accident......

The 'Mustang Week' I was referring to has been in Myrtle Beach SC for many years and had gotten out of hand. Having it at CMS may work......it was great for the Mustang 55th that had thousands of cars.

Lots of great photos. I understand Mustang Week is moving from Myrtle Beach to Charlotte Motor Speedway next year. I hope my Fox body is done by then.

It's very dumb at times. This drawing took about 20 tries. At first the truck was the size of a pedal car, sometimes it alters things you do not want. But right now it's fun.

I needed to take some photos of older builds. When I took some of my AMT Lil Gasser I decided to run it through AI. This is the result. I like it so much I may print a poster version. Thanks for looking!!!!

CORRECT!!! The kits wheels and tires are fair at best.....and since most tire molds did not make it from RM to Atlantis.....why not clone these MRC wheel/tires. thanks

Great show, great group of people. Attended for many years......then one year my son and I were caught in the middle of a gang gun fight. Right then I swore off ATL and GA for ever. Glad they moved the show a little.....still be careful all......I'll watch on YT.....thx

Atlantis is running the Pepsi Firebird F/C in NY and sending out the chrome tree to a vendor. You can see the videos on Instagram. So watching all his video it seem more like they did not have room in NY for all tooling.....but now they have more room locally. Just reading between Peter's videos. Thanks

Peter from Atlantis posted this week that he got a truck trailer full of RM tooling. He also posted a video if tooling, a large warehouse, full of stuff they have yet to go through. So there is a lot of stuff coming I hope. In case this tooling shows up.....so I offer free box art to Atlantis....IF..... Just for fun
