The store off US 74 near the river??? I was there last month while in the area. I lived in Charlotte during DoT filming and another NASCAR film, Stroker Ace!! Stroker has a model car connection. The Monogram 83 Thunderbird is a model of the Stroker car and NOT a Cup car. The Cup car was not finalized yet so they had to use the Stroker car. More than anyone wanted to know. -

AGREED!!! In DoT during a race scene 'Cole' is following a Thunderbird and suddenly it becomes a Monte Carlo and we are not going to notice??? They switch tracks during a race. Not sure how that works.....red flag a race, load the cars in trucks and restart at another track?? All kinds of wrong in the film CLAIMING to be serious......while Talladega makes no claim other than funny. -

Nice!! I cut what was left of our headliner out. It had shrunken to where it was 2-3 inches shy on all sides.....how did it happen??? -
It's NOT a Mustang problem. You can replace Mustang with Charger, Challenger or Camaro. The Mustang is targeted because there are so many of them, so cheap to upgrade and easy to own by idiots. I've owned a Mustang since 1975. My son has a 2016 Roush with 700 HP at wheels. We don't do dumb stuff on public roads. He does enter burnout contests at car shows at organized events off street. It all boils down oo driver/owner. Thanks

I may hsve found it's remains........Under the driver seat was bits of white paper....none big enough to say what it was. Everything else intact....I think that is what was left. Thanks -

Gone as far as I can cleaning and interior........so I started on the engine. Removed spark plugs and feed engine with Marvel oil mixed woth some Lucas. It sat over night and I attempted to spin it after sitting since 1985. She spun VERY well w/o a gallop or noise. Put the plugs back in and cranked her with some ether. She started and ran for 5 seconds. Some gas in the carb and ran longer. But found fuel pump was not pumping so I am doing the VGG treatment to see if I can bring her back. Really happy how good everything is I am finding. Thanks for looking.
