    Viper ACR

Yes, I did lower it just a small amount. Same for the rear. Thanks!

    Viper ACR

It is Kens Fuzzy Fur. Thanks!

    Viper ACR

The paint is actual Mopar touch up paint code PGS sprayed right from the can. Thanks for looking.

    Viper ACR

Thanks for looking. It's not a bad kit overall, it just needs some tweaks to make it a great kit. Revell took the last Viper kit and just updated it with new ACR stuff. It is fine on a kit like the Corvette C6 which was a good kit to start with, but the Viper not so much. Once you set up the chassis to sit right it is not too bad. I really like the interior and engine though. Buy it but just know you have to do a few things to make it right!

    Viper ACR

More pics: I drilled out the back of the gauges and that is why there are white blobs where they should be, just waiting for the glue to dry so they look like lenses.

    Viper ACR

This is my Revell Viper ACR kit that I finally completed after many weeks! The kit is very temperamental and could benefit from an upgrade in terms of fit and assembly ease. I bought a can of code PGS Viper Snakeskin Green at work and I think the color turned out great. I also cut out the "vents" on the hood and replaced those with mesh. The interior was done with Krylon sprays and finished out with flocking and detail painting. I started taking pictures and realized I forgot to add the valve covers that were drying downstairs so, sorry, no engine bay pics. I hope you like it and please, leave a comment good or bad! Thanks, Ed. Thanks for looking!

    2010 Builds

Nice builds, Paul. That '37 is really sweet!
  8. Nice job,Lee. I have always liked this kit, good representation of a '41 Chevy!
  9. Glad to see you got this one done before the end of the year! It turned out really nice, I know what these kits start out as and how difficult it is to make it look good. Great work!
  10. Ryan, you never fail to deliver! All of your builds are real clean and look great! Looking forward to what you have in store for '11!
  11. Outstanding job,Paul! These old Mercs look good, and I really like the paint and wheels on yours! Welcome to the forum, I look forward to more builds from you! Ed
  12. Bernard, amazing work so far! This car is awesome, and you are doing it justice! Nothing quite like a Model A on Deuce rails!
  13. I really like the looks of this one! I will keep watching! Good weathering by the way!
  14. More great work Yvan. They look like you could hop in and go for a ride! Halibrands look right at home on the black one!
  15. Yvan, you have done a beautiful job on this kit! I'm just starting mine and I think this is a well engineered kit. Paint is beautiful and the decal work is top notch! Any build problems to look out for? Thanks.
  16. Love all your builds Bernard! Over the past year I have developed an appreciation for old school drag cars and that is what I will be trying to build in 2011. Thanks for all the inspiration and great work on them all!
  17. Looks good, Steve! I want to build a Mercedes now that I have seen the red coupe in the Christmas commercial. Interior looks real nice, too!
  18. Great work Clay! That Stude convertible looks awesome! Well, they all do actually. Happy Holidays to you and your family, and thanks again for your service to our Country. Have a safe and happy 2011! Ed
  19. Hey Niko! I will get started on the community build this week and get some pictures posted. Hope all is well in Finland. Are you a rally fan?

  20. Hey Niko! I would like to get in on this. I am going to build the new Revell Kurtis Midget car and trailer, and probably a '50 Ford pickup to pull it around with! Thanks, and I hope I'm not too late to get in! Ed
  21. Phillip, two very nice projects here! I can see that '40 with gray Halibrand kidney bean wheels and blue plexi windows in it! Add a light blue suede look paint job and some period correct markings and call this baby done!
  22. Sam, that looks killer! I love the whitewalls and rims, nice combo! I am currently working on a similar sedan delivery, just not as "clean" as yours! Thanks for the inspiration! Ed
  23. Drew, thanks for the info on the different styles of cars, even some of us with knowledge of these cars likes a review now and again. I had a 1/4 midget growing up and loved it! My question is concerning web sites for additional info and pictures. What sites do YOU search on for these great old cars? Thanks for your help, and great builds btw! Ed
  24. Hey Cat. Yes, it is the new Viper kit. I like it, but the fit issues on some of the parts are tricky. There is also a LOT of flash on the parts. Just time consuming, ya know? They did a nice job on the look of it though, the body lines are dead on for a Viper. I hope to get it done before the end of the year, maybe. Looks good in Snakeskin green though!

  25. Hey Felix, hope all is well. How many kits have you built this year? I am still in hell with a Viper ACR that is fighting me every step of the way, and a '32 Ford sedan delivery that keeps getting sidetracked. Nice purple Ford by the way!
