  2. I built a few of those stick and tissue models as a teen in the 1960's, then got into radio control in 1972. I still build and fly R/C planes. Those little stick models were tougher to build than the bigger R/C planes. Shrinking the tissue always seemed to warp the delicate structure, making them fly like you know what! Sam

  7. Very nice Corvair! My first real car was a 65 Corvair convertible that I bought in 1970. I built a model of it then and rebuilt it a few years ago. I like the color of your model. I remember a similar color in the AMT lacquer paints from the 1960's. I think it was called orchid silk. Sam
