  1. Nice model! Looks real! I expect to see Eddie Murphy hop out of it any minute! Sam
  2. Very nice! Great finish, and the wheels are cool! Sam
  3. Here's one more.
  4. Here are a couple of mine.
  5. If I recall, I had a Premier model of a Kaiser-Darrin roadster. It was awful! Sam
  6. Casey, that looks a lot like it. It has those upswept headers, and the alternator looks similar. Thanks. Sam
  7. Whoa! That's a beauty! Great color choice, and engine detail. Great work! Sam
  8. Does anyone know which Chrysler engine is included in the old AMT 49 Mercury kit? I have the engine from a very old kit, but I'm not savvy enough to identify it. It has a cross ram manifold with 2 carbs sitting diagonally. The kit instructions just call it a "ram induction engine." I plan to use it in an old Jo-Han 62 Dart I'm making into a pro street type of model. It looks like a Max Wedge 426, but I'm not sure if is. Thanks, Sam
  9. Very nicely done model! It has lots of character. Great weathering! Looks like it had a life of hard work! Sam
  10. I built that kit about four years ago, and it was a bugger! Mine came out....mediocre, which was better than the first time I built one when I was a kid in the 1960's! I got the doors to fit pretty well with some tweaking, but the hood does have a bad gap on the right side. I didn't notice it until I had painted it, and I just said to heck with it! Here's a pic.
  11. Matt, the building fronts are scratch built. They are screwed fast to the base, and can be taken off for transport or storage. They're foam board walls with brick paper or paint finishes. The windows and doors are drawn in CAD and printed out on posterboard, then glued to the walls. I put balsa frames around them for a 3D effect. The sitting figures do not fit in most of the models I have. The GTO driver is an "amputee"! Sam
  12. Very nice! Looks like it would become someone's project car. Good work! Sam
  13. George, it is 1/25. The figures are mostly G scale model train figures from eBay, but some are Fujimi mechanic figures. I'm glad you like it! Thanks, Sam
  14. Those are all so cool! The black "business coupe" type is especially neat! I don't think I ever saw that done on a 49 Merc before. Nice work on all of them! Sam
  15. I'm going with real. Looks too good for a model. Sam
  16. Great build! Good color, wheels, and engine details! Nice work! Sam
  17. Two nice 40's! Great work on both of them! Sam
  18. Wow! That is beautiful, the best 58 Ford model I've seen! Great work. Revell needs to make a 58 with the same quality as their 57! Sam
  19. Very nice! Great finish and foil work! Wagons are cool! I think those Hubley kits were 1/24 scale. Sam

  22. Looks great! It's nice to see one built stock. Nice work! Sam
  23. That's cool - a very different 32 Ford for sure! Great work on the build. Good weathering, looks like it had a hard life of work! Sam
  24. Looking great! The interior is killer! Great seatbelt detail! Sam
