  2. Wow! True elegance! Stunning build, Harry! From back in the day when a car trunk was an actual trunk! Great work! Sam
  3. Hi, Don. Welcome to the forum. You'll learn a lot here! I'm a PA guy too, about 10 miles east of Penn State U. Sam
  4. Nice! That interior is killer! The piping really sets it off! Sam
  5. All beauties! The 36 Ford and 40 panel truck really appeal to me! Great work on all of them! Sam
  6. Hey, guys! Here is a Revell 32 Ford coupe I just finished. It's mostly out of the box with a few mods: the body is channeled over the frame rails, removed stock fuel tank, hinged the trunk lid and made an interior for the trunk, and I used a pair of parts box seats instead of the kit bench seat. Engine is from the kit with plug wires added. Paint is Krylon almond and Testors gloss red. Flocking applied to interior floor and trunk interior. The only color I had was purple, so I shot it with flat black after I applied it - it worked! The model reminds me of a bunch of AMT 32's I built in the 1960's, but it's a better kit! Comments welcome. Oops, I added the radiator hoses after the pics were taken. And, yes Harry, I forgot the mirror!
  7. I saw this 59 Bonneville convert in a local car show a few years ago. It's huge!
  8. Looking good! I'm a bit surprised how good that chassis looks for a brushed paint job! Very nice work! Sam

  12. Yes, it is! It was pretty much an easy swap, if I recall. I just cut the front ends off both cars and glued the Edsel front on the 57 Ford. The seats had corduroy upholstery and the front ones swiveled. I thought it was a cool custom at the time (1967?)! Sam
  13. Wow! Really good job on this! Weathering is just right - looks like a real working truck! Great work! Sam
  14. That is a really sharp looking Chevy! Great color and stance! Very nice work! Sam
  15. Here are some of my builds from my teen years in the mid-1960's. Kodak Instamatic photo. I still have the VW bus and milk truck on the far right.
  16. Just beautiful! Great finish! Is that an original kit? Excellent work! Sam

  21. Very nice! I like the color, and the wheel/brake disk detail. Driving lights are cool, as is the rear roll pan w/taillights. Really clean build! Great work! Sam

  23. Great looking classic rod! Clean build, great interior and engine detail. Really nice work! Sam
  24. Thanks for the compliments, guys! I originally built this Dart kit to mimic a real Dart I owned in 1984-1986. I found it sitting in a back yard, and bought it for $200. I did some work on it and had it repainted in its original grey color. The front bumper was bent badly, and I couldn't find one for it then. When reverse went out on the push-button auto tranny, I sold it. Here's a pic of me with it in about 1984.
  25. Casey, I finally got it to work! I attached one photo at a time, hitting "preview post" after each attachment. All went well until I attached the photo above that you copied, then it blew the post away. I tried it again without that photo and it worked! Apparently, there was something wrong with that particular photo that was causing the trouble. Weird! Sam
