  1. Found it on Ebay , seller simply listed it as "Static Model Wahini Wagon Cowabunga Unused Decal Sheet Vintage 1/24 Scale"....what a mouthful, but seller didn't know the source kit. This link to the image works on my computer but given the way this is going probably won't work here. https://www.ebay.com/itm/15380726012
  2. Tried posting a photo from the model contest showing the Fiat, same problem, wouldn't upload. And this website was shut down shortly last night for maintenance....wonder if that has something to do with it.
  3. I had no problems posting pics of the IPMS Model show in Richmond Va in the contest section from my smart phone. All I get now when I draw from my photos is a triangle with an explanation point and a negative 200 number. " Upload Failed".
  4. Can't remember the source kit, I might've acquired it off a vendors table box of decals. Pretty sure it's either an ancient AMT or perhaps MPC kit. Maybe a fellow modeler who cut his teeth like I did in the early 60s can identify it. ( I used the Iskenderian parrot Polydyne decals on a recently completed 1/32 Monongram Hemi Fiat kit and one of the decals began to disintegrate as I placed the model on a contest table....shouldve coated it with clear but I tested the others prior to application and they held up well ).
  5. Really captures the look and feel of a 60's quarter- miler.
  6. OK...thanks for the info.
  7. Cool. Can you tell me which starter kit you used? I take it that it wasn't the 1/24 scale Monogram kit that has been re-released several times...that one doesn't have the sides to the hood over the engine. ..so it isn't factory stock. Yours seems to have the hood sides? Did you have to make them?
  8. Perhaps you were Gary ! I wish I had taken more pics....its a challenge to hit all the vendors while still budgeting enough time to appreciate all the great workmanship on display. 7 1/2 hours wasn't enough time.
  9. The tiny pilot sitting on the display actually had a wisp of cotton "smoke" emanating from his cigarette.
  10. This display of a missle carrying helicopter concept from the late 50s early 60s had a humorous touch...
  11. Fine photo etched mesh on the nose of this Sikorsky helicopter. Aviation subjects also bring a lot of participation.
  12. Armor modelers take up several tables every year, and their weathering skills are top of the line. Check out the chipped paint on this T-55 tank....
  13. Sci Fi subjects were well represented...
