How does one apply to be a mod??

Around here locally they are trying to raise money for a local cancer center to buy a shuttle van to transport people to and from the office. A local specialty car shop donated a mid 90's Corvette and its touring the area raising money and awareness. With a dollar donation you can sign the car. Jay Leno and Arnold Palmer signed it. It was at the Autozone where I work and my store manager paid for the entire crew to sign it.

My wife is going to try to get it through her work because she is a graphic designer so hopefully she can find it a lil cheaper. I think I'm gonna try that Micro-Mark brand and see how that goes.

I was wondering what you guys that make your own decals use for the paper? My wife is a graphic designer and said she'd have no problem making mine but I don't know what type of paper to get or where to get it. If I can find it I may just make my own Midnite Express decals and call it a day!

I emailed Keith Marks so we'll see if he replies.

I'd like to make a Midnite Express to go with my Lil Red Express truck. Dues anyone know of anyone making the decals for it? They look like this

no those are Keith Marks on the hood and Fred Cady on the sides and air cleaner.

Here is my recently completed entry for the Revell contest. I'm very proud of it although there are a couple minor flaws. The paint on the passenger side by the front marker light came out rough, the wheels aren't technically correct and the distributor wiring (my first time) is wired backwards. Also this was my fist shot at BMF and I must say I like it. Anyways enough talk and on with the pics.

I noticed in your pics that you're missing a kit, the Revell Baldwin Motion Cobra

I know it had to be above 60% percent for a while about a week ago when I was having the biggest problems. But the clear takes care of all of that now.

Does that have HID headlights?

I tried shooting some Testors wet look clear on it and BAM, back to gloss. Least that takes care of that issue.

Thats the clear I use and it seems like the Duplicolor is the only paint that gives me this problem.

I recently have been trying to use the Duplicolor Perfect Match paint in the spray can. It seems like no matter what I do it goes on glossy but the dries flat and milky. What am I doing wrong?

The AE86 was loosely a Corolla or Trueno in Japan I believe.

Where did you get the Olds valve covers and the scoops??

I read that there was a company that was making wheels for your car that were encrusted in diamonds and gold and cost 250,000 for the set but that also got you a year of having a security guard stand next to your car.

I actually heard of a computer controlled car a few years back that had a screen for a windshield because it drove itself. Or one of those cool piano key ties?? lol

I just started using the stuff and from what I seemed to learn is just take your time, cut a a lil bigger than what you need and go over it with a q tip to smooth it out. It's pretty forgiving if you need to move and replace it a bit.

Heres a model I finished a while ago and thought I should post some pics. I took the engine from an 02 Camaro and added the supercharger from the ZR1. It has Pegasus 19" IROC wheels with ZR1 brakes. I also know the glue messed up the windshield a lil bit that didn't happen til about 2 weeks after it was done.

I've been working on my stash for a couple months now and have about 60 unbuilt so far. Also got a couple of more rare ones as well as the Skyline I just got in today straight of the land of the rising sun!
