All I really cared about was the exterior components. I could probably handle everything else. -
Mustang Cobra R Conversion?
Patrick2005 replied to Patrick2005's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
yes that is it -
I was wondering if anyone casts the parts to make a Cobra R from the Revell Mustang Cobra kit? All it really is is a front and rear fascia and the spoiler.

I have a decent start on my blog now and I thought I'd share it here. I'd love to hear everyone's feedback on it. http://www.miniaturemotorworks.com

I just got an airbrush and was wondering what everyone here uses for paints and reducers? Also where do you buy yours? I see a lot of people using HOK paints and would love to know where to buy them.

My awesome wife decided that since they were on sale that she wanted to buy me an airbrush. It's the Paasche H100 and it comes with the compressor and the whole 9. My question is what is everyone's take on this particular piece? I've never used an airbrush before and would like a little feedback as to how easy it is to use as well as what kind of painting you can do with it. Thanks for any info!

I have several cars I want to redo but most have decals on them. How can I safely remove them without hurting the body?

My sister saw one that had 5 or 6 stick men and it said "This is not my family, these are confirmed kills" A lil on the darker side but still funny.

Thats why I like building late models now....... no chrome! lol But I've noticed the adhesive issue as well, thought maybe the paint wasn't fully dry enough yet or something. -
Making a Marauder wouldn't be to difficult, just take the 4.6 Cobra motor from the SVT Mustang and add different wheels and there you go!. If you really want to go the extra mile, get a set of Autometer gauges for the center console. Don't have to get to crazy though as the real car had them but they weren't even hooked up properly, so they always read the same reading all the time lol!. Also if you didn't fancy an automatic, you can use the T-56 and make what Ford called the "Cobra Vic". They were made for the Bob Bondurant driving school, read about it in Hot Rod I believe.

I want to hate it because it's a General Lee but not a Charger...........but I just can't! It looks too nice! lol Great work man!

What do you drive?
Patrick2005 replied to gasman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I don't have any pics of it right now because well frankly, I never had a reason to but I drive a 94 Ford Crown Vic P74. The P74 was its option code, the P71 was the Police Interceptor, P72 was the standard Vic and the P74 was a "highly-optioned civilian" Vic. It has 4 wheel disc brakes, it had air suspension in the back until the bags blew and we replaced with coils and it even has a car phone! LOL So far I put on MSD coil, 8.8MM Accel Wires, NGK Iridium plugs. Spectre throttle body spacer, K&N air filter, Thrush glass-pack muffler and 2 of the 4 cats hollowed out. Don't run to bad for being almost 20 years old and 174000 on it.
