  1. Mark, I've been a fan for many years since seeing your various works on the forums I belong to. Always impressed by what I see and always left speechless at the quality of craftsmanship you bring. This is yet just another amazing work of art that I thank you for sharing with us. I'm in for more until you call it finished. Amazing job.
  2. Wow that paint is incredible. Nice wheel covers to! Thanks for posting Dr.
  3. Erik, thats awesome. I've been buying up some 1/32 kits lately on ebay. What is your technique for the worn undercarriage? It looks very nice compared to plain black. Nice job!
  4. Is this a swap meet or contest? Both? I may be down for the 20th. Casey, are you going to have a table and sell resin?
  5. Over the past 20+ years I've done the plastic "welding" thing myself on various builds that I felt required additional strength. Particularly useful when I chopped and sectioned a 53 Ford. Regardless of what others may think, this is much stronger than using any type of glue only. I tacked the upper and lower body pieces together first using CA then proceeded to plastic "weld" the seem (fumes are crazy bad though). I find this really useful when doing a load of body work that will require a lot of sanding and handling. It does indeed make the seem very strong, much more so than simply using any glue or even epoxy. Last year I chopped and sectioned a 32 Ford Sedan and DID NOT plastic weld the seems. Used CA only. I found myself being extra delicate with handling and sanding and still managed to crack the body 2-3 times whereas when I did the plastic welding it did not happen at all. Basically if you dont like it or dont want to do it, then dont LOL. But it does work well.
  6. Thanks fellas. I found a nice supercharger in my stash that I may wind up going with but still not sure since I'm waiting for my tall injector stacks in the mail. Either way going to put the slicks, wheels, and blower in rubber this week so I have some extras. Think there will be more of these from me lol.
  7. As a quick side project as I work on finishing my Z06 I thought this would be fun. New Revell 1/32 scale 1970 Mustang made into a Wild Gasser project using 1/24 parts. Member T_Sean has something similar going and I was surprised to see we both had the same idea at the same time! His looks to have an engine whereas I'll just be adding parts to complete the exaggerated Gasser look. Started with this - Broke out some old slicks and vintage slotted mags which I will be casting both in resin for future similar projects. And have billet slot car wheels for fronts. I'll be either adding a supercharger with 4 pot Hilborn injection or oversized Hillborn injection with tall stacks. Will do a quick straight axle up front. More to come! Here are some mock up's after making room for the monster slicks -
  8. Awesome! I started on the new Revell 1/32 '70 Mustang last night doing almost exactly the same thing LOL! Mine will be an exaggerated Gasser. I'll post pics later in my own thread. Keep it going!
  9. Looks awesome!
  10. Very nice. In for more progress.
  11. I wanted a flat bottom wheel for my Z06 build and had nothing in the parts bin that I was satisfied with. I came up with this built from solder and various styrene bits.
  12. Tyrone all excellent as usual. I love both Nova's. Super nice job.
  13. Wow awesome stuff. Thanks for sharing Darryl!
  14. I always look forward to your builds Wayne. Nice job love that Cobra!
  15. Beautiful build. Awesome paint! The hump on the drivers seat is supposed to keep the drivers legs more in place during cornering.
  16. Awesome Ron! Looks perfect to me!
  17. Finest Charger I think I've ever seen. Way to go! Awesome!
  18. Andrew this is looking great! May I ask where the PE bolt heads, nuts, and alternator blade are from? Your doing a super job!
  19. Doc thanks for this! I'm wrapping up my Z06 build and I've been itching to do something different and creative (and FUN!). This would be perfect. If there is a CBP thread I'm in.
  20. Flat out awesome!
  21. Great job on this one. Looks great all around.
