  1. Thanks for the kind words guys. Details should be posted this week on ordering and availability. The turbo's will be slightly delayed because I'm still working on perfecting the molds. Drag radials I'm guessing should be ready in a couple weeks. Thanks again fella's!
  2. Hi all, just wanted to give a little preview of some of the items that I've been working on which should be available real soon. Hope you all enjoy and questions/comments welcome. Thanks guys! Ever want a real soft rubber cogged supercharger belt? Ever want to cut it to your own length and size? Now you can! Deep dish steelie Racing seats Beautiful 2 piece resin turbos .. large and X large! (Viper engine used for size comparison) Have much more in the works and details coming soon.
  3. Hi all, just showing some of the items I've been working on. These are 16 inch Fuchs wheels. I believe I also have some 19's or 20's which will be cast soon. Official announcement of availability coming this week! These are fresh out of the mold so you may see a tiny bit of flash.
  4. I just cast these vintage big block M/T covers ... (plain or polished aluminum look)
  5. Hi Romell, your doing a great job so far on the build. Agree with everyone else, nice work man. Is that similar color to your GTR build with ghost flames? Looks great! Have a question though ... on the rear rims, did you flip the aluminum sleeve around for a deep dish look? Those are Mr. Model 21's correct? Keep it going and keep up the nice work!
  6. Thats an outstanding picture comparison of those different tires. I'm saving this info/pics for sure. Thanks Wheelman!
  7. Are the wheels the same size or do you just have smaller diameter front tires on? I have loads of Fujimi and Aoshima wheel/tire sets (just not these ) Thanks for the info, the project looks fantastic and the wheels look perfect on it.
  8. Isn't this the elusive model you sold and it was damaged beyond repair during shipping or something like that? Looks great though lol ...
  9. That looks wicked! The wheels and tires came from where?
  10. Guys thanks much for the comments, they really do help me. I'll be posting more info soon.
  11. Dave, that is exactly one of the tires that is serving as the basis for a master. Should be no problem at all to make a master to fit a bigger diameter wheel for some late model performance. More news coming soon! Thanks fella's
  12. Hi all, just curious what kind of interest there is some scale drag radials cast in soft rubber? I'm working on the master now and the inspiration is this Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial version. I may have a couple different sizes in the pipeline. Finished piece and how to get 'em coming soon!
  13. Sweet! This is gonna look cool when its completed. Nice job so far!
  14. Bob, I have a "friend of a friend" who is "Oprah" rich that has an ever evolving car collection. I was told he has a couple 458's on order and normally (often) he gets first examples country wide. I cant wait for them to get here so I can take pics and go for a drive. Just 2 weeks ago he received the only Alfa 8C convertible in the country. The hardtop 8C is amazing (have vids and pics of that). Regrettably a few months back he sold his Veyron which I didn't get a chance to drive or photograph. He also has a few McLaren MP4-12C's on order along with a couple Mercedes SLS AMG's. I'll be sure to load up on pics when his new toys start rolling in.
  15. Bob, regardless of all the issues, your build sure seems to make it all worth it. Very nice and clean (like usual). Another fabulous build sir! I've been afraid of spraying white for a long while because of the yellowing with Testors enamel. Is that Tamiya pure white?

I agree with everyone else. Looks great and the engine detailing is fantastic. I kinda shrugged when I seen the flat black but the more I looked at the pics the more I liked it. It all fits and it came out great. Nice job!
  17. Thanks guys. I will advise you all when they are available. I will soon post a more official announcement in the "resin" section with additional products as well.
  18. This turbo is the master I just finished. Its not resin (yet). Will make molds of this shortly + yes much more in the pipeline as time permits. Thanks for the kind words guys!
  19. Hi all, been busy at the bench scratch building. This is one of many projects being worked on. All styrene 2 piece turbocharger. I would call this one "large" in size for heavy duty street / drag use lol. Impeller wheel coming soon. I think a KONG sized drag version is up next.
  20. Okay, okay I'll post more "official" news in due time but I'm working on aluminum sleeves of multiple sizes all the way up to a scale 28 inches for the most extreme Pro Touring and Hot Rod builds. Will have tires for all sleeves as well as custom wheel centers in various styles that I'm mastering now. More options like brakes, billet wheel centers, etc all in the works if demand is high enough. There is no selling on this site, so I will find out how to properly post the news when the time comes.
  21. I use MS Word as well after seeing the results in another thread. No need to complicate the matter with other programs. Results using Word and a good photo printer are extremely crisp and high quality.
  22. IMO it depends on what your building. I know the Jada fronts and rears are big (fronts are about 21 inch, and the rears scale out to about 28 inch). If you visit some of the larger car shows (Detroit Autorama for example) .. you'll easily see cars of all types wearing wheels and tires of this size. 17-19 inch are small by todays standards and 20's are getting more common and somewhat on the small side. At least on the show car circuit where Pro Touring cars are wearing a minimum of 20's up front and 22+ on the rears. I've seen Street Rods wearing even bigger 26-28's on the rears. Its all preference and whether or not the wheels / tires physically fit the application your working on. So, although some of the diecast stuff looks out of scale, its really not. Especially considering the extreme 1:1's some folks are building these days. I cant divulge any info, but there will be more "Pro Touring" options for modelers coming soon w/out having to buy diecasts.
  23. ... sorry I agree with Bob then! I thought you were asking about the trim on the body (around the windows) not the black areas on the windows themselves. Black Sharpie all the way. Very easy, if you screw up use some rubbing alcohol and remove it and start over.
  24. Mask off the window surrounds with Tamiya masking tape. Apply some light (mist) coats of Model Master black (flat) lacquer. Remove tape within a few minutes while paint is fresh. Works excellent. Haven't tried the window tint though.
