  1. Another beauty by Mr. Clean!
  2. Panel lines, panel lines, panel lines. Great pinned article here to learn how to do this. I am tired of seeing beautiful paint jobs on models with this issue omitted.
  3. Hey Cruz, any way you can cast that thing in resin or have someone do it for you? I would love to have one copy for myself. What carbs are you using for this?
  4. Am I wrong to "constructively" criticize someone's work when I myself am a rookie builder? I mean, some things are just visually way out of scale and some paints are just not done correctly. Anyone else think like me here?
  5. I had a friend that showed me the cover of the mag and it looked absolutely real, just didn't have the time to peruse it. Do you have more close ups of the engine?
  6. Dude, I am definitely building this one next, that black 'Cuda just looks awesome!
  7. Sorry but you can put all the links you want and the pictures in this thread don't lie, no need to look anywhere else. Thanks for the tutorial Cruz.
  8. I am interested in building the new Revell Sox and Martin 'Cuda but wanted to know which would be the right colors to use for the blue and red areas. Also, which paint would you guys recommend?
  9. This is turning out great. After seeing this WIP and Marcos Cruz's black 'Cuda on this month's cover of the mag, I have no doubt I will start on mine soon. Thanks for the updates.
  10. This looks awesome man, great choice of colors, not too crazy or mild.

What paint and color are you using for the panel lines? They just look so freaking real.
  12. Got the current issue of the mag and I must say that I want to be like Marcos Cruz when I grow up, I mean, that 'Cuda is too much! My favorite cover ever!
  13. Magnificent build as usual my friend. Read the article and it's great, love the idea behind the tubing on the seats!
  14. Cruz, you don't need to use urethanes to accomplish a good paintjob, you have already shown us how great your work is just by sticking with the basics. No disrespect to Jimmy but if you look at that Merc, the panel lines are completely gone. To me, the urethanes are way too thick and yes, I am gonna hear some people suggesting that if you thin them and shoot them the right way they can certainly be used. I know of quite a few people that use them but 1 out of 10 have the trick mastered, the others just have an idea.
  15. Dude, with your quality paintjobs you don't need to be asking about this stuff, you do just fine and I bet that you would even make a flat color shine.
  16. :PThis is very nice, reminds me of the one Cruz built a few years back, it was so cool I had to buy it from him!
  17. Thanks for the video my friend, very helpful and I must also order the back issue of the magazine to have it as reference when I am ready to start on mine.
  18. Wow, gorgeous build my friend as usual. Color is just perfect for it. Tinted windows are a good touch.
  19. Thank you but I'll keep my BMF method.
  20. :DWhat? You don't think is all that? I'll take it from you then.
  21. Awesome build man, I don't think you could have chosen a better color for it. Really inspiring to the point that I am purchasing two of them......
  22. Awesome work, great details, definitely a work of art.
  23. Looks great, love the color.
  24. Very nice idea, and it's not challenging either.
