  1. Your pictures are awesome! What camera do you own? By the way, the model is not shabby at all!
  2. Terrific job as usual Cruz, the interior and outside color create a phenomenal contrast on this model. I am sure the guy will absolutely love it.
  3. I am sorry but even the body when painted on the work in progress pictures is exactly the same as the ones of the finished model, the door handles are still not visible and the pictures just look funny. Harry is also a master with Photoshop and I am sure he would find some discrepancies.
  4. Very nice but sorry, I am with Doug on this one, a lot of the actual model is certainly Photoshoped.
  5. I tried putting that kit together once and gave up, a little too challenging for my abilities. You on the other hand are making this one look easy. Love the look of the dash and the steering wheel, that interior color really compliments the shell color. I only wish you were building it for me. Can't wait to see the completion of this one.
  6. Hey Cruz, I think Dave Thibodeau stole your idea, only his was featured in Scale Auto Magazine. Same car and color, I thought it was yours.
  7. I am thankful we have choices, wish we had 10 or more different model car related magazines, I would certainly buy each and every issue. people have to learn to stop complaining so much and start to be more thankful that between the mags and the forums today we have something that was missing a few years ago.
  8. There are still some modelers out there that think the more photo-etch and aftermarket parts you add to your models, the better your chances will be to win at a contest. What about cleanliness? Scale accuracy? Paint? Basics of a build? Please help me make some people understand.
  9. Dude, talk to Cruz, I had a chance to share with him at the club meeting yesterday and he explained to me the method he utilizes, I am positive you will like it. He will have a seminar on this thing a few months down the road, hopefully I have a chance to attend.
  10. Cruz, I just purchased mine and I am copying everything you did to build mine! Sorry! LOL
  11. Superb work Cruz, perfect car for a cover shot specially at the angle it was taken. Do you have any pictures of the engine before you placed it in the engine bay? Looks like you spent a lot of time detailing it.
  12. Love this build Cruz, the review in the magazine of the kit is also very good, thanks for sharing.
  13. Great job on the paint Cruz, may I ask what color you used?
  14. Hey Cruz, I think the whole front window frame is supposed to be covered in aluminum. Have you seen the pictures of the real one? sorry for pointing it out, it's just that you did such a wonderful job on it...
  15. Very cool build, you should get together with Cruz and photograph your Audis together, that would look very interesting and contrasting.
  16. Thanks man, looks like I missed a good one, definitely next year. Did you guys change venues?
  17. Does anybody here have any pictures of this event? I couldn't make it this year.
  18. looks great!
  19. Another amazing build my friend, you sure can paint. I must say that I am also enjoying your reviews in the "other" magazine greatly. How did you do the black masking around the front window?
  20. Very cool, that is one smooth paint man. I am already wondering how cool the rims would look against the body. This car truly does have some beautiful lines, gotta go and get one for my collection.
  21. Hey fellas, I am a big Indy fan and want to know how big the Indy category is, I am planning on being there if all goes well. I have 2 models that would be perfect for competition.
  22. Cruz, I had a chance to see this kit in person and I agree with you, I was also surprised to see how cool it is. As always, you are doing a great job on this one, hopefully the color Bob chose works out but I don't have a doubt about how smooth that paint will turn out. You will, at some time have to share your wash and dry brushing techniques with us.
  23. I do remember this build an it was very cool, thanks for sharing this with us Cruz and congrats on making the cover with yet another great model for this month's magazine, that MACH 1 is just awesome.
  24. Very nice job and unique color, my only gripe with this kit is the small tires, they just look way out of scale.
  25. Very nice tribute. Can you show us the cover of the magazine? Didn't know it was out already.
