Last week while on E-bay, I won a bid and today I just received a cool Lamborghini Miura. Has anyone here build one of these? I hear it's a great kit and I remember seeing someone here build one. Just wanted to get some ideas on how to go about building it and seeing which colors would look good on it. Please help

Great start on this, it's a very nice kit, I had the fortune of buying a built one from Cruz, he did a terrific job on it. Are you adding a vinyl top? They look great on these cars.

You could have saved a lot of money by you tubing some info on do it yourself light boxes. You have to definitely work on your lighting, it's way too dark. I also think it's a little small.

I am in the process of putting together a Hemi engine and was wondering who carries the boots for the spark plugs, I thought I had seen some models here with them.

At a show I went last year, I told a really good modeler that his model looked like a Franklin mint build. He was offended by this, REALLY? Anyone here been through that?

Turned out really cool, needs more noticeable panel lines but other than that it looks great. Color is really nice along with the pictures.

Hey guys, I am interested in taking a few pictures of my models. I just built a small light booth so I have the lighting I need, my question for you camera gurus is more what settings should I use in my camera? What Fstop settings should I use? Aperture? Speed? Please help. I have a point and shoot type digital camera but I am able to manually change a few settings if need be, I just need to know which of those settings are the best to use.

I am more of a collector than a builder and to me, the most critical part of cleanliness on a model is the paint, usually when that is done right, everything else pretty much falls into place. One of my favorite builders here is Cruz, his paintjobs and the way he approaches his builds are always unique, I know, I own 3 of his builds. I do see a lot of cool paintjobs here but some seem to be a little on the thick side, I think that the mastering of polishing kits are a must if you want to be more than just an average builder.

I was given this kit by my wife in Christmas and felt kind of intimidated but after seeing your work in progress I feel a lot more comfortable now, thank you so much for sharing this and all your work with us. My kit had 2 of the tires with the same problem you had, I am hoping Revell can help me with that. The Alcladed rims look really good on this car, surely something I will be doing with mine also.

Wow Cruz, what a gorgeous build man, that paint is just dancing with the sun! You have got to share your secrets for such fine paintjobs with us. Engine is amazing, I followed your WIP in this one and learned a lot of new tricks, thanks for sharing.

Cruz, how do you get that flocking to look so nice and even? Everytime I try that, I get bald patches in different areas. What glue do you use for this?
