  1. Nice work. gus
  2. Good job and I like the Chevy in the background too. gus
  3. Got this in a trade with a buddy of mine. It's complete and unbuilt except for the clear display stand. gus
  4. Well philo, i really don't care for the air grabber scoop and would prefer the other style hood. The air grabber always looked like some home built gadget and spoils the smoothness of the car to my eyes. Same reason I didn't go for the blackout taillight treatment. It always looked to me like the rear end was sooted up from a flooding engine. gus
  5. Yours has the sinister look to it and if I build another one it will have the body colored bumpers. gus I'm gonna try that the next time. gus
  6. You know Donnie, I thought about white glue but it takes so long to set up that I pictured myself holding a mirror in place without moving for 15 - 20 mins and changed my mind. I used super glue because it dries quick but the mirror slipped and slid down the door leaving a glue smudge. It doesn't really show in the pics though. gus
  7. Well she's more or less finished now. Just needs some underhood details and small body touchups. I made a mess of gluing the passenger side mirror. Why don't they put some kind of locating pin on these mirrors? Excuse the dust on the trunk lid. This one got dusty before it was even finished. How would you like to see that in your rear view mirror? gus
  8. Good idea. Ol' Flash will have a heart attack the first time Rosco floors it. gus
  9. I like this too. Very nice job. gus

    1937 Ford

Yes sir! That is most excellent gus
  11. I'll give that a try on my next one Mike as well as adding some rear shocks. gus
  12. This model is just getting better and better. I can't see anything wrong with the decals. gus
  13. Thanks for the compliments everyone. This one is turning out better than I thought it would. You know, the old ex- Monogram Mopars really aren't so bad if you don't mind the tub style interiors. The only beefs I have with them are the one piece exhaust and rear axles, the lack of under hood detail and the molded in battery. The bodies are well proportioned unlike some of the other 1/24 stuff they did. gus
  14. Front and back bumpers are now detailed. I put some silver paint on the ends of the headlight lens pins so they aren't so noticable. Used the kit decals for the tail lights and put some clear flat on the backup lenses. gus
  15. Nice work! gus
  16. Looking good Mike. I love sparkly paint. gus
  17. This is one of my favorite threads because engines are my favorite part of a kit to build. gus
  18. That's a good looking Ford. Nice color combo and cleanly built. The rear would look better if you drilled out the exhaust or at least painted the ends black. gus
  19. Nice Camaro. gus
  20. Beautiful Stingray. gus
  21. Nice 'Cuda and good job on the grille and tail light panel. gus
  22. Nice Challenger Josh. The interior kinda clashes with the yellow but you did a great job of building it. gus
  23. I remember his nickname being woo woo after he was in a movie with Mamie van Doren and I didn't peek at your link before I posted this. gus
