  1. I've been waiting to see this one finished and it is worth the wait. Fantastic work! gus
  2. Not sure what it is but I see a lot of Chrysler in the rear quarter and tail light. gus
  3. Yeah, what happened to the special edition boxtop with views of both versions. I thought that was the best box art style that Revell had done in a long time. They did it for the first release, why not do it for the SS. gus
  4. Too bad about the body. From what I see in the box, it would make a great model. gus
  5. That thing is freakin' great! :oThat engine looks really good and if you were to drill out the injector stacks, it would add an extra touch. Not a criticism, just a suggestion. gus
  6. Yes he did! One of the most faithful replicas I have ever seen in 1/25 scale. gus
  7. My pappy said son you're gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't stop drivin' that hot rod Lincoln. gus
  8. I like the interior and if that is a scratched cage then you did a great job. Not sure but I think the seat should have a bolster on the right side. gus
  9. That looks great and the paint has that true candy apple look to it. I like the wheels too. gus
  10. Very nice! Are those wire wheels from the AMT Riviera? gus

    Mustang 70

That looks good. Mustangs can still look good without the spoilers. gus
  12. Harry, I am sorry that I even got all of this going. As far as comments go, if I see something that impresses me I will say so. If I don't like something i may make a comment along the lines of " it's not my cup of tea" but I never attack anyone. gus
  13. Thanks Harry, that makes sense. I haven't been on here much lately as I have been away building airplanes. gus
  14. Well, it states criticisms, sarcasm and other comments so I wasn't sure. I changed my display name back to oldscool because there is getting to be too many grumpys, grouchys and crankys on the forum. gus
  15. Good job so far Brett. gus
  16. That looks great! You got rid of the funkiness that this kit always had about it. Nice job. gus
  17. I noticed the rule at the top of the on the workbench page. Does this mean that I should not reply to a post at all unless it is asked for by the poster? gus
  18. I would like to see more pics of that Merc with the extended headlights as it looks interesting. If you have posted it before then I must have missed it. gus
  19. Nice clean work and good paint. gus
  20. Now this I like! Good job of coordinating all the elements. Fits the currently popular style with out looking like rusted junk. Jose approves gus
  21. I have the Richard Petty issue in front of me right now and it does indeed have two sets of roadrunner logos for the wing uprights on the decal sheet . One with black letters and one with white letters. What it doesn't have is the proper Rally wheels - you get Magnum 500s instead and a set of all chrome steel wheels with dog dishes. If anyone wants pics i can add them later today after work. gus
  22. Wow! That is the finest 36 I have ever seen. With a lowering job and paint like that, who's gonna notice the tag. gus
  23. I am loving this thread! What a great collection of talented work. gus
  24. Veeeery niiiiiice! I love the marbled top. It reminds me of some type of old plastic. I think I built a Pyro Auburn made of plastic that looked like that. Anyway to get back on topic, that grille bar is perfect too. gus
  25. Another nice one. Looks great! gus
