  1. Yep, another one of your fantastic builds. gus
  2. That is a great build! I like it. Jose approves gus
  3. Your mother is a hamster and your father smells of elderberries :P gus
  4. This just my personal opinion, but I call the new Camaro the 21st century Edsel. Butt fugly! That Superbird doesn't look as good as the original but it's not bad. gus
  5. I have been to some shows just to look and buy but I never have and never will compete as it just takes the enjoyment out of the hobby for me. gus
  6. That is a very nice Nova. I see you went with the obligatory yellow plug wires that everyone had to have back in that era. I also like the half rolled down windows. gus
  7. I was liking it until I saw the big block Chevy under the hood. Just kidding. Nice work. gus
  8. That looks really good. The turbo plumbing looks just like stainless steel. gus
  9. That certainly is a classic. Great color scheme and that engine is superb! gus
  10. I checked out all three of your builds and they all look pretty decent to me. The paint on the Black Widow looks especially nice and you have made good color choices. If you are using foil tape then you will like BMF much better as it is thinner and easier to cut. Just keep building and your models will keep getting better. And keep showing them here. gus
  11. I keep coming back again and again to look at this model. I don't have words to describe how good it looks. Maybe flawless will do. gus
  12. That is a very nice Firebird Andy! You picked a great color for it and engine details look good. gus
  13. Wow, thanks for the links gentlemen. Just what I was looking for to detail the whole interior. I kinda thought it would be white but wanted to be sure as I am not really a Chevy man but I like the older Impalas. If it were a Mopar I could detail the interior from memory. gus
  14. Thanks for the replies everyone. gus
  15. That's a good idea but I kinda want to get it built sometime soon. gus
  16. Thanks for posting this. That red rail is a beautiful car. I think I saw a flash of fire in that competition coupe at 0:50. gus
  17. Nice to see this one being done as something other than factory stock. Those carbs look great! gus
  18. If I do the interior in the 66 Impala SS in black and white, would the headliner be black or white? I searched on Google already and what pics I can find don't show the headliner. gus
  19. I will second the suggestions made by Matthew and Virgil. They are easy to build kits. Also you may want to try the Revell 69 Super Bee and 70 Superbird kits. gus
  20. Nice collection of builts and pretty good stash too. gus
  21. Great looking van. Did AMT put those wheels in every kit back then? Sure seems like it. Anyway, keep on truckin'. gus
  22. That looks fantastic Tom. The big wheels go well with this car although they aren't my thing, but it's your model. Beautiful paint also. gus
  23. I love it! Very nice work. gus
  24. I never would have thought to do the hood like that. Very good solution. gus
  25. I now have the 396 for the Chevy finished. I used the same red wire that was used on the Buick engine but just painted it black. I had hesitated to do this on previous builds because I was afraid the paint would flake off when the wires were moved around. The paint stayed on just fine except where a little was rubbed off by my tweezers. I have to give credit to AMT for molding brackets for all the belt driven accessories on the Buick engine. Revell didn't see fit to do this on a kit that was engineered almost thirty years later. Thanks for looking, gus
