  1. I was thinking scott blower also or a wild six carb manifold. gus
  2. I kinda like this one too. It looks like it has a nicely molded body. gus
  3. Looking good Virgil! Keep crankin' away on it. gus
  4. That looks just like the real thing Eric. Beautiful build! gus
  5. Good idea Romell. We need more posts in On The Workbench and Under Glass. I'm trying to get two more built. gus
  6. Looks like some people are still experimenting with psychedelic drugs. gus
  7. Very nice build! I have been wanting to build one of these as I used to own a 67 Coronet 440 in Dick Landy colors but the body on this kit keeps putting me off. The rear quarter panels shouldn't droop the way they do and it would be difficult to fix as the droop begins at the rear door line. I hope this is a clear enough description to everyone. Just Google the real thing and you will see what I mean. Once again, that is a great build and nice paint Dan. gus
  8. Got the engine for the Riv finished. Progress has been slow on this one I'm not going for factory correct of course. The color is Humbrol sea blue and I chose it for the contrast with the black body. The red plug wires were used because it is the only color wire I have in the right diameter and they look good with the blue engine. You can see the 396 from the Chevy kit in the background of the last pic. When I get it wired I will post some more pics. Thanks for looking, gus
  9. It may be a crappy kit but you have done a good paint job on it. gus
  10. Nice. Looks like real ground pounder . gus
  11. Some mighty fine stuff being posted in this thread. I'll join in. Here's mine: gus
  12. That looks spot on. Those front and rear body pieces are tough to get fitted properly on that kit and you did a great job of fitting them. gus
  13. I second the baby moons. In my opinion, they look great on any car that has a rounded body shape. gus
  14. I like the low front end. Looks mean. gus
  15. Wow! That is just great all over. gus
  16. Oh yeah! Beautiful interior. gus
  17. Th The instructions do look to be a work of art as does the rest of the kit. This is going to cause me to spend money that I can't afford along with the Trumpeter Ranchero. gus
  18. God forgive me for starting this insanity. I can not believe this is still going. gus
  19. Don't forget that no one needs to learn to tell time anymore since the dawn of the digital clock . gus
  20. Sorry for starting all this Harry. It has ended up rather comical though . Should the period be before or after the emoticon in the above sentence? gus
  21. Perhaps I misinterpreted your intentions with the quotation marks. I am just an average working class guy who did graduate from high school and I try to do the best I can. If my point was vague to you then so be it. I just hope someone got some useful info from it. I post on this forum because I love the hobby and am growing weary of the nitpicking I am seeing on all modeling forums. gus
  22. If one doesn't use perfect spelling and grammar they are not welcome on this forum?
  23. Thought I would throw this out there for those who are less knowledgable about Mopars. I have lost count of the number of AMT Mopar builds I have seen with this mistake. It's a mistake on the instuctions that has been there since day one of the 68 Roadrunner and is still on the sheet for the Round 2 release of the 69 GTX. Part 18 is not the wiper motor, it's the "beep beep" horn for Roadrunners. The correct part is # 141 on the chrome sprue: I hope this is helpful to someone out there. gus
  24. I knew this would turn out great and it did. Nice work! gus
