  1. 935k3, You build very cleanly, ah.... what was your name again? Could you please post your name in the signature box found in the profile section of this board!?! Forum Rule #1. That way we know who you are and can compliment your quite good modeling skills!
  2. Oh Steve, you are funny!!
  3. 351 Cleveland - Monogram 1970 Ford Torino GT Cobra DOHC Modular with SC - Revell Super Stallion Mustang 8)
  4. I have no idea Zeb. I'm an artist not a computer geek. When my 'puter gives me trouble I call Gregg....
  5. It's that time again! The Pacific Northwest's 17th Annual NNL is nearly upon us. If anyone wants a printable .pdf file including application for a table in the swapmeet section then send me an email: jairuswtsn@aol.com
  6. Looks pretty cool without a windshield! So, scratchbuild your own? Clear sheet plastic and some aluminum channel. Or solder out of brass and get it chromed or spray some Alclad. Lots of options
  7. Bill, Nope that's about it! Welcome aboard. 8)
  8. Very nice Russ! I see you are a big fan of Dave Deal... huh? I love his artwork as well. You have anything recent?
  9. No, Tim hasn't got any manufacturing plant for 1/24th Trucks! He is simply DRIVEN to build like the rest of us... 8)
  10. Note the flopped over front axle.... cool!
  11. Miguel, I have never done a diorama before, but if I was.... I suppose my source would be real life. Those other magazines are great for ideas but if you want to do a realistic dio then find a subject or pick details from around your life to model. And take lots of pictures... My two cents.
  12. Hi Brian! (I got something for you...) I say leave the red tint. 8)
  13. This is the best example of how to post pictures so far explained!
  14. It works.... but you forgot your first name. Please fix and welcome aboard! 8)
  15. My good friends: I have noticed that more than a few of you guys are snubbing forum rules… so, I have posted the basic rule here. If, “SkootzRodShopâ€, “Monsterman†and “Charlie†do not post their first and last name in the signature box, or use there full name as a “handle†then posting privileges will be restricted. You have been warned! Thank you, and the rest of you can go on with your business now….
  16. Holy Shootski Zoli! Not only is the car beautiful but your photographs look professionally taken. Very nice post! 8)
  17. Nice cars and very good photography! Welcome aboard MCM forums. 8)
  18. Good rule of thumb if you do your own resizing of pictures is: 9 inches wide at 72 dpi! Other than that, most guys are not able to resize the pictures so they need to set their cameras for standard resolution setting or SQL. Zeb, software costs money and any program that resizes the pictures would have to operate whenever the page is opened because the original picture would still remain the large size on the server inwhich it is stored. So, each time the page is opened it would take longer for it to be displayed as the resizing program did its work. Might be only a second or two for each pic but what if they posted a lot of pictures..... Gregg has a picture hosting program. But it got overwrote when he loaded the last forum updates and now needs to be re-installed before the users can play with it again.
  19. Very nice! Love the tarp. So what's in the Cougar? 390? Better be a 390....I'll give you 5 grand for the Cougar! 6?
  20. Thank you David. You build some interesting subjects there. Have you tried weathering and adding some rust? James Warkentin hangs around here from time to time, maybe we can get him to show us some of his weathering tricks. Welcome aboard David!
  21. Chop the front springs and mounting pins in the front. Add lowing blocks between the leaf springs and the rear axle tube in the rear. Then you might run into wheel clearance problems in the fenderwells because these are plastic models and not real cars (thicker material) so you might need to grind out the wheel well liners to get the tires to clear. Or, you could do like Bob Paeth used to do and cut the tops off the tires.... :?
  22. Thank you David! Good to meet you!
