  19. slyder, roll bar design depends heavily upon the shape of the car. Drawings will only apply if they are of the car you are working on. Soooo, that is to say that there is no place where drawings stored that I know of. Most modeler’s use the roll bars found in pictures of Pro-mod cars and modify the kit structures to match the pictures. I would start there and branch out to full scratchbuilding as your skills grow. There will be a learning curve, like any other modeling skill, so your first project won't be the best. However, as you work I promise you will get better. Good Luck! Also, is that your real name? Could you please put your last name also in the signature text box please? Thank you! 8)
  20. tsheehy, Fantastic build there! Very nice work, you'll be a great addition to MCM forums. However, we don't know your real name so could you please post it in the signature text box found in the profile section of this board. That way it will be automatic when you post. Thank you!

    1955 Ford

Hi Bill, Michael. I too started a '55, a Sunliner. The trunk trim stopped me back in '88. Now certainly I have the skills to accomplish it unfortunately I still have not gotten it back to the workbench. Just too many other projects to work on I suppose... Michael, that is a beautiful build and wonderfully crafted! I wonder about something... the dash radio, clock and heater controls, are they decals that you created? This is something that exists nowhere else in modeldom and in the car world they were used only one year! The car I am modeling actually exists in my brother’s storage. An actual '55 Sunliner which he and I road in when we were just kids. Grandpa gave it to him in '82 for his birthday and he tore it apart only to place everything in storage when his first kid came along. Because of this I have access to the "Parts" but not the whole car if you know what I mean. Thank you for posting the pictures of the Vicky! Love them. Jairus

    66 Mustang

Al, beautiful build! Got any pics with the hood up?
  23. Come to think of it... I got the issue numbers wrong again. #117 is the Chopper cover. #118 and 119 are the ones at the printer and they are both late now....sorry guys.
  24. Issue 119 and 120 are at the printer. I have no idea what the hold up is other than the fact that the printer is located in Denver and ill weather might have something to do with it.... That and this is Golden Bell Press' busiest time of the year. I don't know what to tell you....
