Well it's been afew weeks, my other pc systm cpu fn crashed so that system is down getting repair and I am using a new system right now. I been working on this project here and there. I sctrach built the rear axle housing so far but made a mistake on the first one so I am going to build another one, I built two so far and with the one (first one have the mistake) I have the one yet. The rear axles are being design to really work like a real one and drive the model truck when finish. Anyways here is afew photos.

Why not just go to Evan Designs an get the LEDs there? They are already wired and ready to go.

Making the new rear end.

Been working on this off and on for the last few weeks now. Had the storm hit us last night. But Here is some progress photos of where I am at with this project. Still working on the rear part yet.

Hi you all, I have red on here before that some of you uses Pledge Future Floor shine as a clear coat. and Some on here was talking about how they used it on white models and then notice the models turning yellowish? Well at first I didn't realize just to what you all was kinda talking about. Well as my wife was at out local Wal-Mart shopping she came across the new stuff so I picked it up. Looked at the bottle of it.. I notice the new stuff now has a fruit sent to it.. lemon. Now take a lemon and cut it and look at the juice come out of it. Notice the color? It is a slight off yellowish clear. The future in the new stuff is there but what is making it turn yellowish on people is the fruit sent they added to the clear. Now we went to a few different stores around town that very day and I also looked at the bottles in each store that carried Future. Now the thing is one store Trader Horn still had the original bottles in along with a few of the new bottles as well setting next to each other. This gave me a good comparison on the two. The original doesn't have a fruit sent added to it as I know of (I have a original bottle here at the house of the stuff as well). Now I coated one model car down in future, and another model car down in future with a lemon sent and the lemon one yellowished on me in a few days (sorry I don't have photos of the two model car's to show).

Nice truck man, but I think you got the wrong area, we have a Under Glass area for trucks as well now. BTW, what colors did you use on this truck? I like the colors.

It's been a day at least since I last posted on this. I for got to tell you all that the other day when my cousin and my wife and I was talking about the chain saw ordeal. My cousin told my wife.. he would sell us the chain saw for sixty some dollars BUT needed half of that down before we could get the chain saw from him and the 3 chains that goes with it. My wife started to make a deal with him when I told him to save it and not say a word to me. The way I look at it was it's strange he couldn't lend me the chainsaw due to some new law that he seen on tv about loaning power tools out and yet he can let me have it if my wife and I give him half down on it which we didn't. I talked to my one neighbor that is like a brother to me (The one I'm doing the Mack semi truck model build for) that has afew chain saws that he doesn't use and he loaned me a chain saw to use.

If you want the red to really pop out at you. Go with a light color for the under coat. If you want the red to look darker and not pop at all, then go with a dark under color under the red. But if the model is molded in yellow, I would do like the other member said, silver it first. Then I myself would do a white color and then the red over that.

I second that motion. LOL

I have to make 4 of these things. Marking the frame spots out. I already did this earlier the other day.

Hi you all, well been working on the semi frame. You can say I a am rebuilding the whole frame out of brass and copper. I went online and dug up some reff photos of leaf hangers.

Me too. Plus Home Depot is braking the laws too now, they are renting out chainsaws.. they can't do that. LOL

You see, my original post and what I said and what your saying are two different things. If you don't want to watch your 6 year old nephew play video games, then just come flat out and tell him. But what my cousin is always telling me is he claims he always see the same very stuff we talk about on tv just after we talk about the stuff. I find that very very very very hard to believe anymore. Maybe once in a while yea but almost all the time.. no way. He's always coming up with some kind of excuse about everything it seems. But yesterday really took the cake though and when he told me to ask around and to look it up online I figure I would take his advice for once LOL

No to most of them. Even my cousin doesn't have none of them at all LOL. But I am a country person, lived in the country all my life. He is not qualified either then I would reckon. He sees almost everything thing we talk about on tv nights after we start talking about stuff and then tells me afew days later "I seen or heard about that stuff last night on tv (Just like he did about the chainsaw deal)" and the strange thing is he watched mostly the history channel or cartoons!

Because, right now the income is very very tight..

Hey no problem man, that's what I'm doing as well is asking questions too. That is the only way you will find anything out.

That's what I'm thinking as well, even my wife agrees with us as well that he is blowing smoke is all.
