  1. A Mack V8 motor. Also "Thank you" so far for the site link too.
  2. Okay, getting back to work on this one here and there, I decided to go and rebuild the radiator on it and also the air cooler.
  3. I'm looking for reff photos of the Rad & Air Cooler. If you can help me out here, It sure as heck would be great. Thanks in advance for any help.
  4. Looks nice, John! but is it just my eyes or does that front end "T" with the brake lines look like you wouldn't be available to turn the front wheels left or right? if it was a real car.. or am I just seeing things? I'm alittle tired right now.
  5. I like the chopped version more, but I don't know why, but to me this looks like one of those funny looking fish that is a cross bread with something else that looks strange. Plus this also looks like a predator that keeps low to the ground and gets closer and closer to it's pray.
  6. About the body color, may I suggest say a metal metallic flake green?
  7. Screen Cap of the original photo. Should be around 37kbs in size in screen cap format.
  8. I mean with a modified rim.
  9. If you want the rust to look more real, use some clear coat and chalk pastel followed with a sealer and then a wash for some nice shading.
  10. Give us a photo of the rims under the car please? I think they would look better shiny then dulled out.
  11. I think it would have looked alot more better if you hadn't shaved the door indents down like you did. It reminds me of the AMT General Lee kit doors. If the indents would have been on the doors the car would be popping alot more. Other then that, I really love the paint job out come, and the rims as well! Keep the updates coming please.
  12. Very nice work so far man! Keep the updates coming!
  13. Yea, I notice that as well, and my wife notice around the dirt bike area that he made at a least one white barrier thing go flying, plus the barrows he hit. The guy can drive, but I know it wasn't just one time in some areas, it was afew takes. Look at the trolly trucks.. look at the tire hoops around them, they are there before he gets there meaning he did that afew times. But he can drive good though.
  14. Alittle suggestion here if you don't mind for your future General Lee builds, place the name "General Lee" towards the front of the charger roof, just above the door vent glass is where either the "G" should be location at (driver side) and the last "E" in Lee "E" at (on pass side) above the door glass vents on the roof on the pass side. In the middle like that is the incorrect location. BTW I love all your builds man. Keep up the good work.
  15. Now please take this is a very very good way.. please. LOL Boy, what is this? a web site about how to post your photos of your finish in a fashion way that others like for you to do? LOL. I thought it was a hobby to build model cars and share them, so what if the back drop is messy or cluttered up? LOL. It's the person's work area and not yours. Maybe it's how that person likes to take his/her photos of there builds. I find it kind of more interesting when a photo shows other displayed models in the background behind the finish model that is being shown. It goes to show that the person has built others before and also what his/her love in the hobby is for and kinds of model cars as well. I think one thing you all for get at times is who the builder is also, we're all different, maybe one builder likes posting one way, where as the other builder likes posting photos another.. it even goes for the work bench area's as well with the builders. Maybe one likes it like that where as another builder likes his/her's the other way around. Did you all ever look at a calendar/s? and look at all the different ones that are out there? some has just one thing on them, like what the OP started this thread about and the others of calendars has the other way around. and Have you ever heard of what people say about the background of the photo and how it can help out with what is in the center of the photo. I'm not going to go out and buy a piece of poster board or a back drop just because some of you don't like how a photo of a model car was taken. But at times I will take a finish model car out side and take photos of it only if I want to. Like I have always said, if you don't like how I post photos, then please by all means don't look at them... no hide off my back LOL only stuff you might be missing out on that I am sharing is all LOL.
  16. Yes another piece was also made for the back of the sleeper as well. All three pieces The fun kinda starts here. That's it for now, hope you enjoy.
  17. Hi you all, well I been working on the back of the sleeper, my wife is still trying to figure out what I am doing (LOL). I been searching online for certain kind of stuff. Now I have to watch what I post as my friend Mark doesn't want to leave the cat out of the bag just yet as to what this mirlue contains. But let me just say this, it's a very touchy subject for him. So for now on, he asked me to keep the stuff on the back of the sleeper taped off until the project is finished then he wants me to unvail what it is to everyone. Now on with some photos.. There is going to be more lights going on. Here is with the clear piece on as well
  18. Sorry to hear that, man. Prayers goes out to you. Stay strong.
  19. Okay, here is a mock up, to see how things looks.
  20. Okay, I got some work done on this thing yesterday. My wife is still trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing or building right now.. She some what has an idea but not shure yet on it though. Anyways I took and decided to rebuild the base of the sleeper. So what you see in the photos is the new resin base parts that I done to make the new sleeper base. My friend had me design him a meril like that will be place in the back of the sleeper.
  21. The o-rings will be hard to use as they are mostly stiff very stiff,.. now the thing you can do is like what I did on the Makc Superliner project, use the basices of something, then put a ballon rubber around the two ends and seal it to the bases with some kind of glue. Then hook up the fittings to the bases top where the springs would mount to the chassic and run the air lines through the floor pan or along the chassic of the msaid model. But getting a air compressior tank to hold that small amount of air will be the even more funner part of it all, not the air line hoses.
  22. Go into the Big Rigs area of the forum here, look for "Mack Superliner" page 4 I think it is, has some working air bags.
  23. How can you tell what version of Firefox you have? I got the very newest update I think but I love the old lay out way way better then the new one though and would like to change back to that one.
