  1. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57206&st=280 Scroll down to the third post, you may have what you want in your parts box.
  2. In 1950 / 53 these Old's and Hudsons WERE horsepower!
  3. OK, I got mine earlier today. That mold line on the header panel will be a doosie to remove without damaging the Corvette block lettering, and primer should finish off anything left. Theres a real need for photo etch replacments here. No up-top, and the 61-62 tops are differant than the 58-60 tops, but with some work......... The top is needed for almost all race car builds so this is quite an opening for the aftermarket too. The Rochester FI unit is the first design like in the Black Widow kit, I was expecting the second design because of the 327 engine, the change must have happened with the body change in '63, but I can't find proof. The "2 in 1" second version is a lowered front end, decals and some 1880's wagon wheels / tires (can you tell I HATE that trend?).
  4. Yep, looks like Revell will be getting my money next year!
  5. I'll bet the government just buys them all like they do with the Volt.
  6. My son ordered 4 pistons for a Pontiac OHC 4 from Rock Auto, and recived 3 of one design, and 1 of another, althoe all four were correct size, ect. Rock Auto saw no problem with that and could not understand why my son would. It took FOREVER (many e-mails, long distance phone calls, pictures, ect.) to get an exchange of 4 alike pistons. And Rock Auto was not happy about it at all. Added 4 or 5 weeks to his rebuild.
  7. Cimmeron II, sums it up.
  8. Buggy Whips, 78 RPM records, 8 track players, VCR's, i-hobby, times change.
  9. Look for more manufactures to be at the NNL next year, Revell made a big splash without ihobby just fine.
  10. Very nice! I love tri five Chevys!
  11. There's a lot of great kits comming out next year, but we allready knew about them. Still a fantastic 2013 ahead.
  12. Thanks, I thought the early bumper and hood flapsers ran later than '84.
  13. Looking at the hood and grille, isn't that Camaro newer than an 85?
  14. The 340 6 pak is as easy as robbing an AMT Duster kit, just say'in.
  15. If you are talking about the oil pump on the rear of the engine on the right side of the bike the oil lines go to the oil cooler and oil tank. You should be able to find a diagram of the routing on the web. That engine used the same setup for decades, look for late '70's.
  16. The 62 'Vette seems to be lacking the nose lettering and emblem. I sure hope they are not on the decal sheet.
  17. That "hole" in the frame is the spring pocket for the coil. It should not go all the way through the frame.Think of it this way, the top of the coil sets against the bottom of the upper frame rail, and the bottom sets in the lower control arm {"A" frame). The coil compresses as the control arm moves up and down..
  18. I need a second job.....
  19. "Can I see your license?" "It's on the bumper, man."
  20. Vintage road race would be best on an AAR "cuda wouldn't it?
  21. In the 'Cuda kit I see two K members, is the second one lowered for racing or rased for a "donk"?
  22. Me either! And a ZL 1 Camaro too! That should fire 'em up!
  23. Complaints about another 57 Chevy begin in 3, 2, 1,.......
