Your old truck looks like my old truck from the 80's except mine was a fleetside... The bed was so rusty we replaced it with a green 67-up stepside . Even the wheels were the same... but alas the next owner total it by hitting a Habersham County Sheriffs car. Watching with interest!!

ME TOO!!! Which explains why the last time I needed sprue cutters, I wound up using small side cutter and a file from My "big cars" tool box! and that is crazy seeing as how I "only" have five pair of sprue cutters and only one pair of small side cutters..... When I do put my tools where they belong, I use a two drawer plastic tool chest and a variety of small plastic tray inside of that!!

Try the old trick of a light coat of clear to seal the tape line then the color coats! Sorry ,Slant I should have read ALL the post before posting!!!
