Don't forget the welding tanks from the AMT 53 Ford pickups and extra tools in the same kit. The revell 54 S/D had tools IIRC. Don't forget the tools in the Monogram Race Cars , Jacks etc... -
any progress here?

No pictures but I met Gregg, Augie, and Bill Coulter (one of my favorites) and Uncle Milton Hill ,Mayor of Auto Motif. On other issues, The Original "Big Cat" (Yankees fans) Baseball Hall of Famer, Johnny Mize was from my town. Went to church with him and had the honor of helping to bear him to his final resting place.

Would some one please post pics of the covers of issues 154 through current... I am missing two from this time frame and I want too get my friends to be on the lookout for them. Other than these two I have the complete set. Unfortunately, I don't think MC offers the missing ones as back issues. Thanks in advance... glenn

The AMT 57 Ford Fairlane 500 acquire the custom bucket seats and rear seat insert? I had an opened but inner sealed WalMart issue that I cracked open a few minutes ago, and was very surprised to seat those parts plus another custom steering wheel on what appeared to be a later addition to the door panel sprue... Just wondering when the kit got those parts as they have a late 80's/ early 90's look to them. The custom console does not match the seat pattern at all as it has a diamond tuck look as opposed to the recaro panel look to the seats. It also has a very nice TBird custom air cleaner that is not mentioned in the instruction sheet.

Cliff, I love it... Working on one these right now with my 6 yo Granddaughter. She has hand painted most of the engine. I have not picked a color yet for the body. I love the wheel conversion. It just "looks right" for these cars.

Revell '40 Ford Standard Coupe - Hot Rodded 60's Style
camaroman replied to Bernard Kron's topic in Model Cars
Brings back memories... as a kid, my fav cousin Rickey (10 years older than me) had a 396 Chevy stuffed in a '40 coupe... pulled the front end up thru third with very little effort. He is one the reasons I love models so... He was a great builder as a teenager. I love the buildup... Spot on as they say ! -
very nice all of them...
