Bill thanks for sharing... I have two of the 65 Hardtop kits... one is slated to be Tahitian Turquoise, can't decide on the other yet...

I have had this kit in the stash for a longgg time. It was one of several kits that almost did not survive a minor flood in my downstairs office. It has been in a baggy for about 10 years. After I saw this eo on ebay I went looking for it. On the build, I have not made pics yet, but have cleaned up the body and have it ready for primer and paint as soon as it stops raining here. Paint will be Testors EO with a black top and interior. I will deviate from the inspiration and build it as the last of the 409's with some chrome goodies such as the Valve covers and air cleaner. My plan is to use the Cali Wheels from the Revell 59 Vette kit. I do need a decal sheet if anyone has a spare. Otherwise I will have to piece together a 66 Impala set with some 409 decals from another source (any suggestions?). I cannot for the life of me figure out why this kit has not been reissued. The details are fantastic, right down to the cooler for A/C unit have the details even on the side that will be hidden by the radiator! Please feel free to post a picture of your finished 65 Impala convertible here for my viewing pleasure as well as others...

Just a tech question. Is it possible to make the profile pictures "clickable" to be enlarged? I see some really neat stuff in profile pics only to be frustrated that they cannot be enlarged for a better look. Harry? Gregg? Anyone?

I wish I could go, but since I was recently laid off, I cannot justify the $$$ I spend when I go, so I must stay away from the TEMPATION of all that Jimmy Flintstone resin, Slixx decals, Model Roundup show deals, MCW paints and resin bodies,etc! Now I have gone and depressed myself... Whaa Whaa ... :(

Does anyone know what old Lindberg kit #6360 was. All i have is an old set of decals with that kit number on it! it appears to be some type of roadster judging from the decals.

I'm seeing a hot dog stand from this thing on my On30(1/48) RR line...
