  1. Thanks! I'm not sure that these mods are worth making a resin copy of. They were actually pretty simple. The one I wish I would have gotten a resin copy of was my '57 Z06 Chevy pickup. I put a lot of work into that body. Later,
  2. I like Harry's idea as well, but I do have a question. Will these still have a Under Construction folder. I think we call it "on the workbench" now. That is one of my favorite sections of the site. I would not mind everything being included. The title of the post usually tells me whether or not I want to open it. It is really helpful if the poster takes time to make the title relevant Sorry I stopped in mid-post. Did not mean to be redundant.
  3. Maybe I should not comment as I have never posted anything here (more for camera and posting issues than anything), but if all you have to do with your time is PM Harry about postings in the wrong place, maybe you should go back to the workbench and build.
  4. LOVIN' them redlines and daisys... screams Hot Wheels to me! I really like this build. Great job!
  5. Got back in when my oldest boy got a couple of kits as gifts (birthday, Christmas etc). Bought a few clearanced at Wally World. I estimate I have about 600 now. Many are duplicates for parts. To paraphrase George S. Patton, "Man, I like this stuff, God help me I Like It!"
  6. Saving my quarters so i can break the piggy bank! BTW Thanks Luc!
  7. Please have someone resin copy... each post is more amazimg than the last. great job!
  8. That's two in a row....that you got me on!
  9. Now THAT'S funny!! Kinda ironic that a New Kit Review of a kit this old is still going, going and going.... (with apologizes to the Energizer Bunny)
  10. Hey guys Sharpie offers a three piece set of "touch up" markers for wood. I bought mine at Hobby Lobby with a 40 off coupon. I think the run about 5-6 buck at regular price. The set contains a dark, medium and light marker. Used together the look pretty convincing. I'll try to post a picture of my test subject later. ps Look for them in the craft wood section, not in the marker aisle.
  11. I think a good point can be made from Len comment "it's what I had on hand". The big three would have done the same thing. Nothing would have stopped production... "You are out of grey primer, sure send over the red primer". IMHO
  12. But then we would have to go there to see it... and who would want to do that?
  13. Lee I am sending you some ointment for those stings you are about to get... Harry, You seem to be very sensitive lately. You know those guys don't hold a candle to the product you produce but they have some excellent writers over there including some very faithful posters here. The laid back attitude is why I choose to call MCM forum home. jmtcw
  14. I figured it was a few ebay newbies driving the price up! But Noooo! These guys have been around. Will be interesting to see what it sells for and IF it gets paid for (can you say "relist").
  15. Looks good so far!
  16. I am going to attempt to use a mesh pipe screen, if I ever get around to finishing mine.
  17. I like this a bunch!!!
  18. Get in, sit down, buckle up and hang on.... welcome to the ride!
  19. Now those would be cool to see kitted.
  20. That is exactly why I was excited to see the revell 56 delray and the 57 150 and belair "post" cars... more main stream Now if I can talk them into a stripped down 59 or 60 sedan that would be cool!
  21. I think they are in the kit. BTW Box art by our very own Jairus Watson. He may have designed the decals as well!
  22. Man, I am loving this thread... I can't wait to see the finish. And thanks to who ever gave the heads up on the W/R chassis fitting the 51 Chevy's I was modifying the AMT '57 Chevy new issue street machine chassis to fit. This will save a lot of work.
