  1. If they were Seventh Day they would closed on Saturday (the seventh day of the week). I believe the founder is an Evangelical Christian. glenn BTW They will order any quantity of kit that they stock. You just have to ask. And they will give you a raincheck on out of stock kits during the 30/40% SALE weeks.

  4. Nice job on both Torino's. Wished my Mom had kept the 69 GT she bought after she and my Dad divorced. Only problem with it was , if you EVER touched the gas pedal on restart after it was warmed up the darned thing would flood and you would have to wait 15 minutes to try again! glenn
  5. That is a negative. After almost killing the LHS business they no longer carry them.

  8. I would prefer the driver in a seated position so I could put him in the seat. Maybe I'll preform a little surgery..... Would one of the NASCAR seated drivers work? Maybe a head swap if the helmets are different... Just a thought.

  12. Hey Guys, New to Funny Cars. I am looking for pics of the early Seventy's Hawaiian Charger. I've have had a Revell/Slixx Charger kit for years. Just bought Slixx decal set #HCFC-1926. Thought I was buying a set of replacement decals for the Polar Lights older Hawiian Charger. BTW I anyone has a set of decals for that car, please PM about purchase. I believe mine are ruined. Thanks in advance for your help to this F/C newbie. glenn

  17. There used to be a Chevy dealership in Lavonia Ga that had this beautiful Turquoise and white '55 BelAir on the showroom floor with full GTO interior including the dash... IIRC it also had the Goat drivetrain...this was back in the mid 70's Hey, remember the reason everybody went with the bucket seats in the first place . For those too young to remember . the seat would protrude over wher the stick " Normally " came through the floor board . Not until Hurst FINALLY Came out with a stick for the 55=57 Chevrolet did you have the option of leaving the seat un altered or change to buckets as most folks of the era did . Ed Shaver My dad's '55 ran a Muncie shifter that had been re engineered to fit backwards to clear the seat...
  18. I kinda like the funkiness of a convertible's top up... especially on older cars
