Of course I don't mind!!

Looks pretty good, I just can't trade my old and trustworthy Badger Crescendo for this, I love it so much that I bought a second one just in case mine stops working or if the parts are not easy to acquire anymore. I think this one is good for beginners or individuals who are tired of their current airbrushes and want to experience something new and different. Thanks for sharing and I hope you enjoy it!!

I get that once in a while too, happens to a lot of us here. One thing that always motivates me and that I am thankful for is the club meetings, always keeps me going when I get in these little slumps. Another thing I just can't do is have more than one ongoing project, from the start, I set my mind to finish on a started project and I will not deviate from it, it's the only way I can complete something and not get overwhelmed with multiple projects or ideas....

That's right, there is no science on how to use an airbrush, it's just something that you have to go out and purchase and start using, anyone can learn in just a few days once you start playing with the paint and air mixtures plus, it's a lot more fun than cans!!!

The model car garage has a nice Stromberg Carburetor resin and PE set, a little tedious to work around but with a little bit of patience it turns out great!!

Funny thing is that, no matter how much is said about the '32 Ford, there will be hundreds of them at the NNL in April, it is a very played out subject but it's still a big favorite among a lot of the guys. Still, they should have came up with a different theme.....

WOW Randy, you hit me where it hurts, I love VWs man, this one is just sharp, rims, tires paint and everything else, can't wait to see it in person!!!!

You don't see it but this is the beginnings of a tough, junkyard, tear it all apart dog training regimen!! Anyway, I decided to take more outside pictures this morning...... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Hey Lyle!!!! What the heck are you babbling about, this is the most feared dog in the State of Maryland, even Vick was able to use him to make some of the money that got him out of jail!!!! Hosted on Fotki

I have always said the same thing Dave, only I never get to do another one, just never feel like doing it. One thing I will guarantee you though, the one for keeps will definitely look better, but then again, for the right price, I will sell again...

Thanks for all the kind words fellas, very much appreciated as always!! Jay, what I do when the rims protrude in this manner is simply sand away from the inside part of the rim and inside wheel, you know, where they sandwich together? This way, the rim accomodates better into the tire and gives it that "bubbly" and correct look. This happens to a lot of kits, not only these willys'. By the way, be careful when you do this on these rims, there is a chance that you may thin the actual rim to the point where it can break on you, it happend to me but I was able to fix it since I caught it on time!! Thanks again everyone for your kind words!!!!

Thanks George! Negative, the trunk does not open but I am glad that my panel scribing system is working, that's the idea, to make it look like it will open!!

This model is for a club member, he won the painted body in the yearly auction but told me to go ahead and complete it for him. Of course, now I don't want to let it go but I must fight the urge Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Nice bro, all the small subtle details are important to ultimately achieve a nice, clean and professional model! I will be following this so please, keep posting progress pictures, greatly appreciated!!

I was greatly surprised last Saturday while at our Monthly meeting by one of our Junior modelers, his name is Alex Forrester. While choosing one of the kits on sale at the meeting to add to my collection, he tells me he has a surprise for me and hands me one of his models on display on the tables. He tells me that the reason he wanted to do this was because I gave him a Ferrari about 2 years ago and that he never forgot my gesture. I wish I could do this for hundreds of other Junior modelers so that I might have a better chance to keep this hobby alive in the years to come. It was really special to me and I will always appreciate his gesture, he truly is a great kid, of course, thanks to his Dad who is also a great modeler and friend. I am sure that when he gets older, he will be a force to be reckoned with at the model contests which makes this gift an even more valuable one!!! Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki If you guys look at this build you just might understand what I am saying about this 13 year old kid, his work is amazing and yes, he did it all by himself, ain't it grand??? He also had another great model at the table, a very nice Model King Tempest with a faded paint job and all, "I've never done a faded paint job myself" Well, I will admit it right now, I don't want to see him at the contest tables with his models next to mine!! Hosted on Fotki It isn't everyday that a Junior modeler does something like this specially with such a great build, I am really excited to share this with you guys so that you can see that not all kids out there are "hipnotized" with the video games only. By the way, Mike, his Dad, had a very nice ongoing project on the primer tables himself, only there was no primer but a gorgeous paint job and perfectly applied BMF on it, I was loving this thing!!! Hosted on Fotki What do you guys think???

Very cool Jeff, the shade of blue is gorgeous and the interior and uptop really gives it a nice contrasting look!!
