  1. This is turning out awesome brother, can't wait to see it finished!!!
  2. This is a link to Carlos' album in my photobucket site and the rest of his great stuff, check it out!!!!! http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/mmm...20Jesus%20work/
  3. As you guys know, Carlos de Jesus is one of my favorite builders in Puerto Rico, his cars are just amazing. This is an Impala he just finished with the help of Ariel Cordero. The roof posts have been corrected since this model was done as a taxi when it first was introduced. Even though I don't have the pictures for the LT1 engine, it has a bigger oil pan and it is plumbed for the gas pump that was also added. All the Impala scripts were added using Marine Tex. This is the picture of the 1/1, or is it?????????
  4. WOW!!! Sweet build man, love the color choice and the interior, WOW!!!!
  5. My condolences partner, that's never an easy time.......Hope to see more of this project, it's truly coming out nice.
  6. Love where I'm at!!! Live in Maryland, Ravens hate the Steelers, specially after beating them 3 times this year, and on top of that I am also a Yankee fan!!! AHHHH, life is good!!!! Saw the game at a bar, about 60 Arizona fans against 2 Steeler fans, you tell me if it wasn't a great time!!!!
  7. Ear wax collector ??????
  8. Ambroid is my favorite, saw Bill Geary using it and I was hooked. Tried Tenax before that but it evaporated quicker inside the touch and flo applicator and wasn't as good as the Ambroid!!
  9. Very cool, love the weathering technique and overall subject.....
  10. WE WIN!!!! GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!
  11. Thanks, I primered over the adhesive first, sanded it down with a fine grit (4000) and ultimately paint it with Model Master semi-gloss black. I would suggest to add a tad of flat black to that semi-gloss black though, I still think it's a little too glossy even though some club members have told me it's good enough.....
  12. This is really cool work, phenomenal craftsmanship, decals came out awesome, definetly not for the faint of heart!!!
  13. As you can see by Ariel's picture below, we were not all gifted I still love you baby!!!! Just don't stare at me!!!!
  14. Why go anywhere else???? Stick around here, I know of other places but sorry, can't tell You will find them but I'll see you back here again.....
  15. I had seen that GTO on the Finescale forum and thought the texture was a little rough. Jairus told me about a trick using 3M spray mount adhesive and I loved it. You should be able to obtain it at a Michael's Craft store.
  16. That's easy for you to say, while other women don't care where their husbands are, mine does, I hate being so handsome!!!!
  17. I'm a big Rally fan, go with them!!!! Nice stance too!!!!!
  18. You are right, enamels are never recommended for this application but since you are dipping paint into the crevice of the tire it will work!!!
  19. Thanks Bill, that's actually your best bet, I got some myself for my future Nova project!!!!
  20. Wish I could but I'll be working Friday night
  21. These are the Lindberg '66 Chevelle redlines on my Charger. Just dip some flat red enamel paint into the lines, wipe off excess with mineral spirits and that's it!!!! Of course, you have to make sure you have the Chevelle....
  22. Phenomenal job man, another favorite of mine!!!!
