  1. Wow!!! Love the weathering technique, this thing is already looking awesome!!! I would love to learn how to do that kind of weathering!!!
  2. Anytime you want your models posted all you have to do is say so my friend, your work is certainly worth seeing and I am sure everyone else in here agrees!!! Jason is another one of the guys that is doing superb work and he is also certainly coming along. This is a '55 Chevy he has been working with, if I find more recent photos, I will post them, he did complete this one already!!! These guys are the future of the club and the hobby and I am certainly glad and proud to be able to place my work next to theirs, even if they kick my behind!!!
  3. I am not a sprint car fan but this is really an awesome job he did on this!!!
  4. These are pictures from my boy's '66 Nova, a best in show winner and overall bad ass build!!!!
  5. Below is the link for the rest of the pics!!! http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/mmm...PMCC%2012-6-08/
  6. Very cool!!!!
  7. You guys are very talented, I draw a bit but never like this!!!
  8. Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland is your solution, their redlines are really cool!!!!
  9. The clear coat really sets it apart, this is gonna be awesome!!!
  10. I added PE door locks, I forgot to include them, also installed my license plate and added the small Chrysler badge just behind the front passenger wheel. I am glad the old Maryland license plates were blue, it went with the car's color!! I also dipped some black detailer onto the gas cap to bring it it's subtle details as well as the side foiled windows and other small parts!! Thank you for all your comments guys, I really appreciate them!!!!!

    1965 Impala SS

I clearly remember this build a few months back, you are a very talented modeler. Please make sure to work around your photo sharing skills, your models are surely worth it, this is really awesome!!!
  12. That's the one alright!!!!! Great job on that....
  13. Even though my trunk doesn't open, the same rule applies her, make sure you cut them just before they dry and most of all, you have to make sure your blade is brand new. The surgical knife advice is very good. If you use decal setting solution, it would be a good idea to use it right after cutting your decals!!
  14. Thanks Dan, even if you are bias to the Dodge trademark!!! In actuality, it was one of your builds that also inspired me to do this one, I remember you bringing a Dodge model to the meeting and it had the dogdish hub cabs but I thought you made the rear tires wider, what was it, a Coronet???
  15. This is pretty awesome, love the interior!!!
  16. Thanks John, God permitting, I should be there!!!
  17. Yes Tony, I just held the airbrush in an angle with the chassis just like if you were spraying the real one. Just take it easy and gauge your progress, if you spray too much paint at one time, you ruin the effect. You can always primer again though so it's no big deal!!
  18. Finally got a chance to complete this one, I will be adding some license plates later, in the meantime, hope you guys like it!!!
  19. Outstanding job on this one man, love the color and clean execution!!!!
  20. You did it again Billy, this thing is awesome man. There's only one thing missing, the white wall tires!!!!
  21. Come on William, you did a terrific job on your Charger also, it will look very similar to yours, only your color is different. I was a little dissapointed on the chassis fit to the body at the end but then again, most of the American models have that issue.
  22. I have finally put in a bit of time on this thing, shouldn't be too long now before completion. As you guys already know, the side marker lights for this kit are decals, not a very good idea. I had some extra photo-etch parts laying around and hopefully these will help me out in this department. I am using these little round parts and joining them together with the smaller ones to make one unit and somehow make these marker lights pop out a bit more. I painted them and will post them later after the model is complete. I also completed tail light section for the rear, foiling this part was a nightmare but I am happy with the results!!! Here is the chassis with the engine in place and the rear shocks installed!! The radiator section was a bit tough to install, I was lucky not to glue the chassis onto the body until I got this section completed. I also added the rear decal body stripe, I love the way it looks, gives the model a lot more character!!! Hopefully I can finally finish this thing by the end of this week, right now a lot of glue is drying!!!
  23. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
