  2. Very cool my friend, I love it!!!!
  3. Lyle told me that if I quit I would have to leave my whole model collection to him!!! That's the only downside to joining this club..... Why do I keep going back? I don't know!!! But you know what??? He's got hub caps on his Magnum and I am Puerto Rican so guess what's gonna happen next!!!!

Never imagined this thing in red, I love it man, nice job on the paint!!! Planning on going to the March meeting, hope to see it there!!!!
  5. Don't believe this guy!!!
  6. I know the MACS are superior in a lot of ways Gregg but I just couldn't afford one of them. I am just glad that my notebook will be charged in 4 monthly installments which is why I decided to go that route.... One day, when I become a succesful model magazine editor and guru like you, then and only then I will have 10 or 20 laptops laying around the house collecting dust instead of memory!!!!
  7. Around my way they are not so helpful but they don't give me the cold shoulder either, they just let you shop in peace which is what I prefer. Happy their extending their model stock, it was getting to be a bore going to these stores. I did buy me 2 cans of Valspar primer, tested them and found out that they go on pretty smooth even right out of the spray can. I still prefer airbrushing it but if you have a car that doesn't have much detail in the way of emblems and other obscured details, these primers will be perfect to use. They also have a white colored primer, these are the bigger cans, not the dupli-color, smaller sized cans usually sold in automotive parts stores!!

  9. Very cool man, color choice is perfect as well as the engine detail. I am not a fan of the Testors enamels either but I guess that with patience any paint job can come out good!!!
  10. Wow!! Thanks for the input guys. It's funny you say that your Compaq has not given you troubles, I have a friend telling me the complete opposite. He bought his through his company and it was suppose to be the top of the line but said he had the worst experience in dealing with Compaq. I guess that with any computer some people will have good and bad things to say.... Also have another griend that tells me to stay away from Compaq and HP.
  11. Cool!!! Any idea when the show might air? Would love to see it...
  12. Okay guys, I am planning on buying a laptop soon and will be going through QVC to do so, this way I can pay it in 4 monthly installments and don't need to break the bank to do it. I want a toshiba laptop, I hear the quality is good. I want to go with a 2G model. Is this enough? In reality, the only thing I will be using it for is sharing photos and internet use. I have a photobucket account so I don't think I will need to store and keep so many pictures in the laptop. I will also have I-tunes with all my music and stuff in it. I am not a big computer guru, to tell you guys the truth, they kinda intimidate me but I need to own my own and it's the right time for me to buy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. What do you guys currently have? Are you happy with it? What is really the best brand or the most reliable?
  13. Great job on this thing man, colors are just right too!!!!

Come on guys, try posting more pictures when posting your cars here, this looks like a very cool build but.........
  15. Okay Harry, time to replace you!!!!! This is unforgivable!!!!
  16. Fantastic stuff man, great attention to detail is gonna make this one a sure winner.....
  17. That's right Lyle, I am the 1,067th member!!!!
  18. Very impressive!!!!
  19. Very cool man!!!!
  20. Very cool!!!
  21. This is a Skyline chassis I did several years ago using Metallizers, this stuff is great once you learn how to airbrush it. You can buff them or leave as is!!!! This one is also an Impala I did several years ago. Everything except the engine and chassis pan was painted with Metallizers.....
  22. Here are some engine pics!!!!
  23. I had an idea you would also Iz, I was going to post it about 4 months earlier but Carlos had told me it was not ready yet. What I will do the next time is contact you beforehand to make sure we are on the same page!!! By the way, it would be nice if you can take some pictures of his cars with that nice camera of yours, these were kind of in the dark side. I guess you can get together with him and photograph some of his work....
  24. Carlos is a master at that!!!
