  1. I also mounted the engine to the chassis and worked on my fuel lines. Still have to add a few more details and I should be done soon!! Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki \
  2. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Sorry for boring you guys, I am still trying to get this piece of $#%& done... Anyway, I have a very good friend of mine suggest an interior combination to put in the Victoria. I was going to go another route but I really did liked this one. I mixed some browns together to come up with this color and added a bit of flocking to the floor. Hope you guys like it....
  3. Hey, you never told me about this, even though I have an idea who that person is, e-mail me, I want to hear more.
  4. The '57 Bel Air Street Machine has a very cool engine you can use on this, why not consider that one? You should be able to get the kit on e-bay or probably from someone here in the forum.....
  5. Learn to use the Micro Mesh polishing system and you will gloss up flat paint if done right!!
  6. Hey Virgil, which Iwata is it that you use for your car bodies? I thought you had shown it here once, I am interested in seeing it again. Was it the eclipse or something like that? It's about ime to get me an Iwata!!!
  7. We have Ollie's here in Maryland and I purchased a $9.00 Lindberg Super Bee Charger, very good deal on a cool kit!
  8. Great job and progress!!
  9. Thanks Jay, I too am not really crazy about using Testor's enamels for my paintjobs but when I do, I like to use the flat colors. They go on much smoother than the glossy ones and the drying time is much quicker. Also, you can use lacquer thinner on your glossy enamel paints, they will actually dry better and quicker than when using the Testor's brand thinner.
  10. If you shrink it, i will paint it for you at no charge!!! :D
  11. Thanks guys! Kevin, I like to use a very small dab of 3M polishing compound on my finger, rub it on the installed BMF and remove it with a piece of flannel or cotton cloth, this gives it a much brighter and reflective look. Like I said, a little dab will do ya!
  12. BMF in place, next is the interior work!!! Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  13. You are right Don, I think these paints are good for the Low Rider type builders that like the big flakes on their models and are very similar to the 1/1 cars.
  14. Hosted on Fotki I did use the Nassau Blue Metallic on this Charger and thought it was the only one I would use again though...
  15. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki I think the same as well, I did these models with that line of paints and regret I ever did. I do like their clear though...
  16. Hosted on Fotki I did this one about 2 years ago, Revell '66 GTO, nice kit might I add!!

  19. Thanks Kevin, the paint is Testor's enamel Flat Red from the small bottles, pictures were taken inside the house so that's why it might look a different shade. The top is Tamiya Pearl White. Clear is Testor's one shot lacquer.
  20. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki I have not forgotten about this baby, color and clear are in, next, a little wetsanding and polishing and also BMF and I should be done w/ the body...
