  2. Very cool bro, I love it!!!
  3. Thanks Kevin. The stromberg kit is a little tedious to work with just as anything related with photo-etch is, you just have to plan ahead and make sure to read the instructions on the package, they are very clear and precise. Same thing goes with the fuel pump kit from Replicas, Norm takes pride not only with the resin stuff he does but also with the instructions he gives you on his products, you will never go wrong with him.
  4. Incredible stuff Virgil, I am loving your creativity here man!!! B)

  6. I have been working slowly on this project so here is an update. Engine is almost complete, I installed a Replicas and Miniatures flathead fuel pump with it's clear resin fuel bowl and also completed most of the work on the Model Car Garage stromberg kit. I also added the mufflers on the chassis. Here are some pictures..... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

  9. Why fix it if it was not broken in the first place? I think is the same stuff as before and on top of that I am sure they will make it more expensive....
  10. Great work Dave, just make sure to keep sharing with us, you are doing a phenomenal job!
  11. I just hope the my wife's car stalls a lot farther from my house than yours did!!
  12. Great stuff Ron, absolutely love your work!!
  13. I just picked one up today from Ollie's, just paid 9.99 and I must say that it looks very cool. I thought I saw a review sometime here but don't remember.
  14. Don't have to tell you again how much I loved this at the club today my friend, terrific job!!!
  15. I said it once and I'll say it again, cheap stuff will be more expensive in the long run....
  16. Wow, this is a really old resurrected thread! When I paint my bodies, I like to use a stretched hanger to hold it. Just make sure to place your bodies in the dehydrator without any stress, any amountof heat can warp them. Let the body airdry for at least 12 hours and then just place it in the dehydrator.

  18. That needle is 23 gauge. You can order the needles from the link below, they have various gauges. I have purchased 5 different gauges so far and I am having a lot of fun using them for details around my builds!
  19. Thanks Jay, the wires actually do run right through the looms from one side to the other, by using these needles I am able to do that since they are completely hollow. You are also right on the color of the bead wire, it does not come in a black color, I painted these before inserting them inside the tubes.
  20. Thanks for sharing doc, I will have to get me one some time in the near future!!
  21. Hosted on Fotki I purchased a reel of bead wire from Michael's, this is actually the exact one I bought, scale is right on the money!
  22. Thanks Kevin, no, the transmission will be painted a different color later. I don't worry about coverage now since I will be handling the part from this area a lot, I still have more detail to add to this engine specially on the stromberg carbs.
  23. Thanks fellas. I want something simple, might just go with the red and white on this one, only the white will be pearlish on the top.
