  2. Small details surely make a difference, very cool!!
  3. Hang around Michael's for a while, they sell all types of small wires you can get creative with.
  4. Very cool!!!
  5. Very cool, terrific job!
  6. For the bowl I mixed a little bit of Future floor wax and food coloring (yellow), dipped the bowl inside and then just hung it to dry. I will also be doing the same thing for the fuel lines which are transparent. The fuel pump does have very small pre-drilled holes on it, just make sure to start with the smallest drill bit you have to make them deeper and take your sweet time doing it.
  7. That thing looks great Dave, very creative on your part!!
  8. Great stuff guys, here is one I am currently working on..... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  9. Very cool bro, I love it!!!
  10. Thanks Kevin. The stromberg kit is a little tedious to work with just as anything related with photo-etch is, you just have to plan ahead and make sure to read the instructions on the package, they are very clear and precise. Same thing goes with the fuel pump kit from Replicas, Norm takes pride not only with the resin stuff he does but also with the instructions he gives you on his products, you will never go wrong with him.
  11. Incredible stuff Virgil, I am loving your creativity here man!!! B)

  13. I have been working slowly on this project so here is an update. Engine is almost complete, I installed a Replicas and Miniatures flathead fuel pump with it's clear resin fuel bowl and also completed most of the work on the Model Car Garage stromberg kit. I also added the mufflers on the chassis. Here are some pictures..... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

  16. Why fix it if it was not broken in the first place? I think is the same stuff as before and on top of that I am sure they will make it more expensive....
  17. Great work Dave, just make sure to keep sharing with us, you are doing a phenomenal job!
  18. I just hope the my wife's car stalls a lot farther from my house than yours did!!
  19. Great stuff Ron, absolutely love your work!!
  20. I just picked one up today from Ollie's, just paid 9.99 and I must say that it looks very cool. I thought I saw a review sometime here but don't remember.

  22. I said it once and I'll say it again, cheap stuff will be more expensive in the long run....
  23. Wow, this is a really old resurrected thread! When I paint my bodies, I like to use a stretched hanger to hold it. Just make sure to place your bodies in the dehydrator without any stress, any amountof heat can warp them. Let the body airdry for at least 12 hours and then just place it in the dehydrator.
