correct. that was the first time I ever heard the word "HELL" on the radio. as a kid, I always giggled when I heard it. some radio stations would not play that beginning. as far as the one you posted, not sure I ever heard that one.

really...... i'm more of a virgin than i thought, super job. thanks for the info. my apologies for not knowing. -
i like to see build cards because i usually read the ones that i don't know too much about, but it's nice having it there on all builds. i have a few AWB cars that i did myself, some people may think it's a resin body unless told otherwise. i usually look at the builds that interest me the most, then on the second or third trip around, i will start looking at other builds. i see it this way, having no build description would be like not having WIP pictures, just throw the finished build up there and that's that.

hey Charles, really cool build. i am a semi building virgin and am looking to build something like this for my first. really like it, great job. can you tell me what kit you started with? -
glad to see you moving on this one again. now how it is all to well when a project sits. really a killer car.

if I wasn't a huge fan of BTO, I never would have gotten this. you can't understand Randy too well. roll on down the highway - Bachman-Turner Overdrive "NOT FRAGILE" is a great album and would recommend it to anyone. I think they put out better music than when he was with the Guess Who.

Road Runner - Missing in Action
tubbs replied to fseva's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think the main problem here has not been addressed, and that is licensing of the "road Runner" bird from Warner bros. that would be a very expensive thing to get. if any 69 Plymouth B body were to be tooled up, it would probably be in the GTX fashion. I am no lawyer, but I know this effected the reproduction parts for 1:1's big time. maybe someone will have a better explanation. -
yes, the vinyl top looks great. did you use masking tape? nice job. thank you for your service.
-
nice build Mark. I believe I remember seeing that in an old model magazine, correct?
-
nice national. agree with Slusher about the front end. still a killer build. 15 years ago, held up nice.
-
nice build. different choice using the 66 nova chassis. just a killer build. not too mant GN builds out there.
-
looks great. nise start. like the headers also. did you glue them together first, then bend them to fit?

from one Ohioan that doesn't finish his projects to another, welcome. ironic tht your forum name is bleedinchevyorange and you show a mopar... thats ok, i am a tride and true mopar guy that has a couple of fords on the bench right now. plenty of tips and guidence on here as to go about tubbing that rear end. go to the q and a section and go to one of the pinned topics on how to search the forum and you will find what you need.

hey Allen (nice name and correct spelling too) the cross ram manifolds are not the greatest in these kits, as you mentioned the "hi-low" thing. you can get a better cross ram in most AMT GTX, Road Runner or 70 super bee. or the lindburg ramchargers. not rivet counter correct, but at least the plane of the carbs will be the same. that's what I will be using on mine. really nice build. love these cars. you represented it well. I have plans to do one along with the cuda just like this. if your not happy with the one in the kit and you can't come up with one, give me shout.

John, i still have not found the tube over all the great details on that engine. i will keep looking. just spectacular.....

shrink wrap!?!? c'mon, then you have no chance of getting Elmer's glue on your model..... ... good idea Robert.

I may not have this 100%, trial and error is the key. I have read if you take thin gauge wire and wrap it around something that is the diameter of the duct you want tightly, so there is no space between the wire, pull it off and get it to the shape and length you want. then coat the outside with Elmer's glue and paint it whatever color you want. I have never done it myself Henry, but have seen it and it looks great. just takes time.
