  11. correct. heard it on the way in this morning. weren't the 80's great!? correct (but already gotten, I will give you credit though, you got the right name and the band)
  12. yea, i'm gonna be (500 miles) by the proclaimers. that's one of those songs that everyone thinks the title is 500 miles it's actually "i'm gonna be".
  13. haha, great song, I looked at this yesterday, had no clue, reread it today and "BING" it's the kingsman - the jolly green giant. what a classic!!! I think you may have some of the lyrics twisted, but thats OK, love those oddball songs. I love the guy saying all the vegetables at the end of every sentence.
  14. uuuuggghhh, cant get the melody to get more of the lyrics.
  15. if I get drunk, well I know I'm gonna be I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you And if I haver, hey I know I'm gonna be I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you

  17. nice builds, beautiful paint.
  18. haha... yea, it's one of those mornings..... Er war ein Punker Und er lebte in der großen Stadt Es war Wien, war Vienna Wo er alles tat Er hatte Schulden denn er trank Doch ihn liebten alle Frauen Und jede rief: Come on and ____ __ _______________
  19. you are quit welcome. I use tenex-7. I am going to try Ambroid pro weld. here is a thread on the glues, should be very informative... you can always heat some sprue and stretch it to get the thickness you want. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77329 this is a great tool for finding stuff here. this was put up by Bill (Ace-garageguy), best way do to a search. go to Google in a separate browser window, type in site:modelcarsmag.com, a space, and the topic you're looking for. Example: site:modelcarsmag.com glue this will bring up all sorts of what you are looking for. very helpful. also, keep asking questions too, you may have to sort out a few ways of doing something, but that's fine. you WILL get an answer, for sure.
  20. thanks Bill, beautiful cars.... lucky guy. ragtops with air, big motors, so cool. you did it justice, that's for sure.
  21. looking good. great start. love big tire cars. the bigger the better for me! don't worry about getting all the detail in there at first. that's the fastest way to stall a project. for the cage, I use .080, been using it so long, never thought about dropping to .062 like Ryan suggested. most people will use "too big" of styrene on projects, like your struts, if you don't mind me saying, they look a little large. maybe some smaller gauge wire or styrene. get yourself a conversion chart... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/?showtopic=70954 hope these help. your off to a great start and its very cool you have a girlfriend that's into your hobby as well.
  22. I missed Monday, usually my day for catching up from the weekend and wow, seems like you guys have been busy with the lyrics. going thru, a lot that are still hanging in the balance. a lot of these fall by the wayside. got too many songs going threw my head.
