man do I agree with that one...problem is finding the parts to convert mine into the earlier one...think there was a funny car version once that was close. Nice work and ideas guys.

Wonder how hard the conversion to a factory stock would be with it...?...looks quite a bit different .

Carl... You might out a wanted post to try and find tires/wheels from some of the other 1/16th scale kits that were out...some had aftermarket style wheels and tires with them. Hoses and wires you might take a look at old electronics--radio,etc. for the wires from them to use for the hoses,wires,etc...I have done that before.

Carl is a real trooper I know hes been a friend and bud of mine for some time....hes also a gifted builder considering his problems or not. Many of us here have to face the facts of having to try and deal with the insanely high prices of medications...me too...and there way out of control. I take so many there is just no reason to need a breakfast...then there is lunch and bed time. I am lucky to have good insurance but even at that the monthly co-pay its still crazy high all added up.

Dan...Sorry that happened to you all...things like this are just horrible and so are the people that do these things. About 18 years ago we had a Dalmatian named Missy...she loved everyone and was motherly towards children. Our one neighbor who did not like dogs came over around a 8 foot high privacy fence and gave her rat poison...we had here from birth and she was just like a child to us. They did nothing to the guy.

I built this kit as a kid and loved it...still waiting for them to show up around here.

If anyone looks at a model of anything long enough they will be able to see other options for a building version of it Pat....that is how I get ideas for builds often. I built a 69 Plymouth 4door wagon from a 68 GTX HT kit...LOL... I like my 60s/70s wagons. In high school a buddy and I took a VW Thing and put it on a Jeep chassis...was fun the drive around in and would go almost anywhere...LOL...

No Pat they really do need to make some in our scale....I have many ideas for builds of those plus one could make a cool dune buggy or surf rod with one let alone a factory stock...we can dream at least...
