  1. Looking very cool.
  2. Jesse... I am very happy they have been listening to us...they gave us many we have wanted for a very long time...my hats off to them. I am not criticizing them at all...there doing what we asked of them and its great. Just think they can benefit by seeing what we make from their kits, etc. it gives them a good perspective on what sells and what is possible by combining 2 or more of their kits, etc. For the most part i think there as curious as we are about what there doing in the future....no gripe just saying.
  3. Looks very nice...I always have issues with the right weathered look and grease and grime.
  4. That is unfortunate if the companies quit looking and hearing what we want and looking at the ones made from there kits...it gives them a idea of what will sell or is in demand. To me that is bad for business even though they have a lot of expenses in making a new tool or cleaning up one to make the kits we all want.
  5. Thank you Mark....the bodywork took me a month to get done...I have more wagons Id like to make in the future too...some my family owned when I was growing up.
  6. Not bad for a first attempt Clark.
  7. Thanks guys... Yes its a snake in the seat...LOL... all extra details were made from what came in the kits box only...most scratch built from part tree sprue. I hid tons of little details in and on it...just have to look hard and find them all..LOL... My kit was missing the tires so there from another kit other than for that everything came from the kit...I told many of you that nothing every goes to waste here..LOL... Thanks for the comments guys...it was my first attempt at such a build.
  8. Thanks guys.... I made it from a 68 Plymouth GTX HT kit....I am a huge wagon nut of the 60s through mid 70s body styles. The companies need to make more of them for us from the 60s. I used a badly damaged 65 Chevelle/Malibu wagon and a bunch of extra parts to convert it into a 4door wagon...plus I used an old Johan chassis. I appreciate the comments guys..thanks.
  9. Cameron...that is cool reminds me of the so called dragon from the 007 movie Dr.No that was on his island.
  10. The add said it was rust free....
  11. That is beautiful....
  12. Scott...what kind of custom bubble top you looking for..?...maybe I might have something in a old parts box here..?
  13. I too seem to collect odd looking engines in any scale...just think there kind of cool.
  14. Looks great Kevin....
  15. Me too Steve...it just adds so much more class to them. The old 60s models were awesome nice to see there still out there.
  16. Thanks Steve...I just think some of the Convertibles look more classy with them.
  17. The interior work is awesome Steve..! I have the convertible and HT issues both missing hoods...did they make an up top for the convertible one???
  18. Looks cool John...wish they would have included the bed top from the original issue of this one.
  19. That is....Cool...! Nice work...
  20. Yes...very nice to know Frank...thanks!
  21. I still wish they could have backdated the body to the 71 to 76 body styles...they looked much better and were better kits all around to me.
