  1. Matthew... I use the same method as snacktruck...it takes a light heat if the item is thin or small then after heating bend it slowly hold in the correct position blow on it or hold in front of a fan till cool again. You might try on some scrap plastic the same size first just to get the feel for it.
  2. Nice Charles...great tribute.
  3. Chris...the 60 and 61-up were completely different cars no chance they used the 60 tooling to make 61-ups due to that. I really like these old Hubley kits. Id love to find the parts to repair my 61 wagon I am a 60s wagon and 4 door nut anyway. A 63 would be cool..!
  4. There has been at least 5 different shootings here in the last month...the world is going nuts.
  5. NICE....! I always liked these show rod kits...still do there fun to build and make nice models. I missed a few as a kid too but doubt Ill ever find or afford them now...maybe they will re-issue them someday.
  6. It looks like a Mad max version....COOL...!
  7. Mark... I have not heard anything on that but id love to see the Tyrone Malone trucks back out again...would be great for memories of my childhood days.
  8. I love 4doors and wagons always looking for more...from my dads old stuff there is a 61 wagon shame it got busted up badly and missing a lot its really cool. Hubley kits were neat but the promos warped badly but the kits seemed to be less prone to that...nice find your lucky.
  9. Tommy... Yes I am very lucky to have them my dad had some really cool stuff and many were of the vehicles the family owned over the years the 68 included...always loved the taillight panel its just a beautiful car. I just hope once I do find those rare parts to them they come out as good as yours do it will make me proud to.
  10. Ken... Try something very easy maybe even a snap kit...yes a snap kit...they can be built into great models with very little work and if you set it as a goal to not add anything extra to it you will find the fun comes back. I build them still and actually prefer a curbside or snap kit at times myself not all great builds have to have a ton of detail to them the trick is to set a easy goal and follow it till its done..you will find it enjoyable and relaxing to build.
  11. NICE...! I use to have one of those...very cool...they also made a wagon of it too.
  12. Beautiful 60s car Tommy....I am lucky enough to have my dads old 68 and 69 build ups...rough but decent still.
  13. Nice looking build Mike...me I lost interests in Nascar and the kits after the 60s and 70s era...they all look almost the same now.
  14. Thank you Mike...funny thing is this was my first build like this...found out i like it...
  15. NICE...! The red one is screaming to have a tow boom in the bed. Primered one looks interesting.
