    My truck has a 1979 model Western on it too but the truck is a 84 Chevy long box.

    Ken...pretty cool idea of using what might not be able to be used otherwise. I have a 64 Chevelle/Malibu SS HT promo to restore...I like the 64s even though the 65s were close.

    Thanks Ed....the boys were actually adopted buy me and the wife there her brothers and their parents passed in a house fire years ago...this was one of their close friends and like a member of our family too. We all have our time just some its all too soon.

    I always use ether brake fluid or the purple stuff.

    The loss of a family friend the boys grew up with...he spent as much time here as his own maybe more.

    Pat... That is so cool...love it... What did you do with the skeletons from the kit...?...been looking for some for a project and need several of them from the Monogram kits..sitting,standing,etc.

    Very nice......I had the Sierra Grande kit as a kid...very cool...shame they cant re-issue it.

    Well unfortunately I had to toss out almost all of mine from the 60s and 70s era after the tornado blew out 2 windows in my room due to the rain coming in...Ill never store them like I did again just in big boxes.

    LOL.... other than for building/restoring models I like to restore and collect promos/old signs lighted or not. I use to build hot rods/muscle cars/even drag raced for awhile.
