That Olds is SWEET...!

As a kid I had the Penske racing team set (Chevy van,trailer and that car)...loved those triple kits specially the (Modified Ford team set from the 70s 70s Ford pickup,trailer and early modified dirt car). I have a few AMCs I am hoping to restore... 67 Ambassador HT and convertible early 70s Gremlin Jeep with 1/2 cab but its really a Willys

Terry... Isnt the 359 the same one AMT put out as the old wrecker kit...? if it is I have one.

I agree with you there Tom...I have some that will always be like i got them...but some require TLC to save them...hardest part is finding the missing or damaged parts that need replaced...I have too many waiting there turn due to that...just eats at me waiting to restore them and cant...real bummer.

its nice to see these old poorly built ones saved and brought back from the dead...in a sense its like saving some model history.

Its a challenge for sure.... My room has been out of commission for over a month due to the tornado we had here...no time to build much too busy cleaning up and doing repairs yet...bummer...I need to build...LOL...

Robert....My dad owned a 70 or 71 Cyclone GT...loved the shape of it and it really ran. I have the old model that gave you the stock version but its missing or has a lot of parts that are in real bad shape. You just gave me an idea to build a Montego too...
