  1. That is true Kurt....some guys can make new ones for you for it. Old box arts are cool love them I use a thumb tack and push it through the bottom of the box into the wall then slide the cover over the bottom to display it...no harm to the box ether...just an idea for you.
  2. Thanks for posting the link....awesome stuff...man does that bring back memories.
  3. Bill...That is NICE..! I have a soft spot for the big 66-73 Bonnevilles grew up with them in the family. Really wish they could bring back the HT ones.
  4. Nice...! I have a 74 Cuda promo in red. Some people shy away from snaps and curbside kits...not me I like most of them they build into great models too.
  5. Dale.... Nice build beautiful work...
  6. Kurt.... I built one as a kid when they were new there a pretty simple kit....wish I was rich would love to have another and relive some of my childhood days...is there anything your looking for you would trade it for...??? PM me if so.
  7. Tell me about it...makes making one a 4 door or ? a real job...at least the formal roof could be done as a convertible.
  8. Dave...The Eldorado had the Cadillac covers but the Toronado didn't originally...may have been a late run before they closed up just to fill the kit...?
  9. Andy...If I remember right from my childhood days its the same body as all the rest of the re-issued ones...sport coupe body would be cool to see.
  10. YES...they are a awesome touch...love the whole build..!
  11. Nice project and work..! I love wagons of the 60s..!
  12. Nice work on the 6V71 conversion....love the White cab...
  13. Those old Dodge pickup kits were sweet..! I also like the promos. Nice finds Carl,Brad,John.
  14. Welcome...I still hand paint my trim...LOL...
  15. Mike... Thanks for the compliments...it was my first attempt at this kind of build. It was warped pretty badly right out of the box plus a few other defects...I figured this way its not wasted. All extras added are scratch built from stuff that was in the box with it....I have another build like this planed of a 64 Dodge 330...
  16. I like the ones of the 60s to mid 70s car body styles lost interest in them when they all started to look the same like most people did.
  17. Very cool Pat....I like beach/sand buggies and dioramas.
  18. Sorry to hear about that Bill....we lost one of ours a few years ago still miss her she was a 21 year old cat...there is a huge difference between pet owners and pet people they become another member of the family. I hope you get you another little friend.
  19. Welcome Matt... ...nice builds. I have very fond memories of building with my dad too...good times.
  20. Mike... Thanks!...On a very very small income I have found good uses for the ones that just cant be fixed so there not a waste plus they have another chance to be something. Under the second or lowest on page under the light /pickups,vans,commercial in the truck section here there is a 64 Chevy pickup I did...the kit was warped badly and beyond use as it was...check it out it might be a page back by now...
  21. I have seen many wild customs over the years...none like that one but it took some ingenuity and thought to do it...wild looking reminds me of some of the futuristic cars from the 50s/60s.
  22. Very nice....shes a beauty...love to see these old things get restored.
  23. Me too...Id love to see the old truck kits come back as the original issue with all original options for building them...just makes sense that they would sell...Id buy them.
