Trade deals need good communication...I have had many trade deals here and very few with any problems. I have been stung before but there are a lot of good honest people here that do everything they can to make things fair for the others...I know I do. Being on a VERY limited budget myself I trade a lot to get what I need or want....looking or asking others that have traded with one person is a good idea if the possible trader is new to you and may help with any questions about someone you may deal with most are willing to help if they can. I have sent parts,etc. out to help for free never expecting anything in return but just to help....is that not what we all are here for?

Would it be easier to find an old build up that may need a part of two...I have one somewhere here Id trade off for?

I can understand someone wanting a non-curb side kit but for me some I like better that way...old school kits are fine with me just happy there back in any form.

Id love to see the Chevy window van make a comeback or the Open Road van...I have them both and need parts for them but it would be nice to build reissues of them same for the 71 to 77 Dodge vans. Maybe they will add the roof ribs to make the Chevys more correct?....ether way they will sell...its a no brainer with all the builders wanting them.

I am ok with kids here...but the room is off limits to the young ones too young (to understand anyway). Our cats are defiantly not allowed they would pack off small parts to who knows where?

Sorry to hear that Rob I really feel your pain...back in late July we had a small tornado go through my neighborhood and my build room lost a window. Many shelves models fell got crushed found some parts outside over the next two weeks....just keep your head up and rebuild what you can.

I started building with my dad around 6 or 7 years old and am now 47 have been building ever since....I became disabled in June of 96 in a bad car accident so building is more important to me than ever...helps pass the time and I have always enjoyed it. I guess its kind of retroactive now...I have my dads old collection I am trying to restore.
