  5. Yeah me too...LOL.. I just woke up when posting Sorry Bryan. I cut my windows out using the back of a hobby knife blade very carefully . I used masking tape built up with several layers as a guide for the blade not taking too much out at once just keep scarping away at it. Bryan must have had a better idea to remove the window areas than I did...took forever. Hey Bryan....any ideas of what color it will be when your done with it? Looks very nice...keep up the great work on it!
  6. Looking great there! Ill be waiting to see his project too, will get back on mine once I get my room repairs done. When I started mine I was going off of memory had no reference material to go by.
  7. Yep Craig it sure does.... I have one it has a overhead slide-in style camper but is just a shell has no interior with it.
  8. Thanks Josh!...it was pretty tough you need to take your time on them. I am kind of a station wagon nut....always ether looking for more or converting others into them. Shame there are no decent looking luggage racks out there other than the one that comes with the old MPC 77 Dodge van kit. Looks like your off to a great start on yours.
  9. I did the same thing to one I have last year...photos of it are in my photobucket.
  10. If you were around here Id be signing up...always wanted to learn how.

  13. George...that would be great but right now I have nothing to get there with...would be great if I could send you a list of parts, etc. I need to repair my dads old models and have it passed around?
  14. My last trip to the local antique mall got me a 66 T-bird promo needing so attention but was cheap.
  15. I love them too...antique malls and second hand stores and garage sales....all good places to find some nice plastic.
  16. Hey Chris...your not too far from where I am at!....LOL..
  17. you can try going to(Modelhaus resins)? they make a lot of parts mostly factory stock versions though. What were you looking for???
  18. The madness begins two days before Thanksgiving and last till sometime in April here....You are a brave man George to get out into it all...me I hide from it.  !
  19. SWEET stations!
  20. I am just new to working with resin bodies, etc.and don't want to mess anything up when I get started on some projects in case there's a paint problem with them. Will be doing a partial resin conversion to make the first Mad Max black interceptor from the movie, and mid 60s Dodge van project, then there is 59 Ford 4door wagon body....love wagons....would like to find a few more.
  21. Ok so now thanks to you guys I know not to use brake fluid on any resin stuff.....thanks! Any other ideas?
  22. For plastics I have always used ether brake fluid or Super clean de-greaser straight with rubber gloves...just had no clue about resins?...cant afford to harm anything I had a resin dashboard mess up in these two before maybe I left it in too long or something? How long is too long to let resin soak to remove old paint? Thanks for the information guys! Mark
  23. I was just curious if there is a way to strip paint off a resin body, etc. without harming the resin?
