  1. I don't mind the toyish designs of some kits...they can always be modified to be better or just to enjoy a quick easy build. I like the Tom Daniels series kits they build pretty easily and most parts actually fit....promos like them too, even damaged ones they can always be built/rebuilt as models.
  2. Rambler wagon and Cutlass will be a great addition for me or any old Johan reissues! Hopefully IMC wont be a hobby shop only item...
  3. I cant hardly wait for the 70s GMC pickup w/snow plow....SWEET! The truck looks like a straight reissue w/the plow as a new item to me.
  4. WOW guys!!! Nice...loved the drive-in diner too cool!
  5. Id check the straightness of the hood and try to find a replacement AMT one. Nice wagon by the way...love it.
  6. Nice Junior!
  7. Ed...I remember the old hot knifes...basically a knife blade in a soldering iron... didn't like the results from them. Never heard of using thread before.
  8. Nice work converting it and build.
  9. For me it has to be working with mostly numb fingers from the nerve damage...gets kind of challenging at times so I just take a break for awhile....
  10. I got some greenish/blue from a auto parts store made for the real engines...looks nice!
  11. SWEET!... Nice work!
  12. It wouldn't matter to me as long as they are reissued!!!!! Love them all!
  13. Welcome Plastickits!
  14. Mine would be the following... Johan 60s Hearses. Johan 66 Chrysler 300 HT. Normatt Winnebago motor home. 68-70 Bonneville HTs. Any 60s station wagons I don't have. Resin 64 Bonneville 4door wagon conversion. and to find parts for my dads old models they need. I have trades.....?
  15. Happy birthday out to Mike today
  16. LOVE the 70 Coupe Deville!!!!!!
  17. Love the Aussie super cars/muscle cars Falcon and Holden....many of the vehicles from there need to be available as plastic kits.
  18. I think all kits should give the builder a choice to have white wall tires...if someone wanted to build without white walls they could just be used backwards for black wall tires. Not too fond of the white wall stickers they just don't look realistic to me. Id like to see the kits give the builder the choice of building--factory stock, custom, drag like the old original 3 in 1s. Would be a good selling point for the companies too.
  19. Nice work on the ElCamino!
  20. WOW!...the guy is lucky to be alive after that ride....cant hardly believe how bad the car came apart.
  21. That is SWEET Mike!!!! Very realistic.
  22. My first kit was the Johan (Haulin-Hearse) my dad got me been hooked ever since. I have always loved the building AMTs,MPCs,Hubleys,Johans....but always seem drawn to the Johan big long cars....Cadillac,Olds,Chrysler,Plymouth,AMC,Pontiac,Buick have always been favorites of mine. If there 60s to mid 70s body style-2door,4door,wagon,luxury I build them
