  1. I just got a really nice score!!!...but its not my scale though... 1981 Monogram Kenworth W-900 conventional semi kit---unbuilt--complete except for the box--1/16th scale--very very nice including the decals......now just to figure out what to do with it?
  2. I think it looks better than the 4door and like the wall to wall taillights.....now to see if they make a supercharged version?
  3. Pretty cool...too bad for the bird though.
  4. I agree with you all but to me the old version and simplified kits are great kits still...just gives one the opportunity to use their skills/experience to make them as detailed as one wishes. I like both the newer issues and the older ones...just wish they would get back to the 3 in 1 concept again and/or include the original accessories some came with. Many kits over the years has had problems with lack of detail and very faint trim on the bodies, etc. It is nice to see the companies are thinking of the older kits again though....some body styles are timeless.
  5. The interior if detailed will come out pretty good...it not having any detailing or color gives it a plain simple look. With careful detailing they don't look that bad to me. The engine is a bit dull and kind of has a generic look to it but built mine factory stock right out of the box.
  6. Sorry about all the damage and loss Allen...even though its a tough to deal with at least you and all the family are ok. We were lucky here...storm only lasted about 15 minutes before passing on cant imagine it lasting for hours.
  7. Id have to say mine would be... 70s IH 4070A cabover. 60s trucks. 70s KW K-100 cabover. FWD trucks.
  8. I've used brake fluid, super clean degreaser for years now....just want to make sure the super clean dose not dry on the bare plastic this may or may not leave a film on the plastic or haze. Never had ether one harm them beyond use again when stripping old paint off. I have had oven cleaner etch the plastic before though and wont use it anymore myself....the other two can handle about any paints depending on how old or used you chemicals are?
  9. NICE!...
  10. I am very sorry to hear that Harold.... I recently lost a few in a storm-- un-repairable pretty much that were my dads....if there is anything I can do to help just let me know and Ill do what I can for you. Keep your head up Harold...better days are coming.

  13. Ok...Thanks Joe we will give that a try then,we are new to the concept of posting and sending photos so we haven't much of a clue about how to do it to start with. Mark
  14. Hi Joe... I have no idea, the wife was helping with this and just gave up...we just don't understand the process I guess??? The Photobucket account information did show up on my profile look up. I am not great at taking photos ether. We did get the photos downloaded into Photobucket. Were not computer whizzes that is for sure. I guess we need to learn everything to send/post from the Photobucket? Thanks!...Mark
